Matthew Ryan "Matt" McGinley (born February 24, 1983) is the co-founder and drummer of Gym Class Heroes [1] and a contributing music producer to the nationally syndicated radio program This American Life . [2]
Matt McGinley is the drummer and co-founder of the band Gym Class Heroes (Atlantic Records). Independent of the band, he has toured and performed with a range of other artists including Ryn Weaver, Wafia, and Ben Abraham. [3]

McGinley also worked with experimental post-hardcore band The Bunny the Bear as a studio drummer for their three releases Stories , Food Chain , and A Liar Wrote This . [7] He was accompanied by producer and guitarist Doug White, who had previously worked with Gym Class Heroes.
McGinley attended the State University of New York at Oneonta from 2001 to 2004 [8] and holds a B.A. from Boston University, which he pursued while touring with Gym Class Heroes.

Matthew David Cameron is an American musician who is the drummer for the rock band Pearl Jam. He first gained fame as the drummer for Seattle-based rock band Soundgarden, which he joined in 1986. He appeared on each of the band's studio albums until its break-up in 1997. In 1998, Cameron was invited to join Pearl Jam's U.S. Yield Tour and then became a permanent member of the band. In 2010, Cameron became simultaneously a member of Pearl Jam and the reunited Soundgarden. He remained with Soundgarden until its disbandment after the death of lead singer Chris Cornell in 2017. Cameron, along with guitarist Kim Thayil and Cornell, is one of three members to feature on every Soundgarden studio album.
Gym Class Heroes is an American rap rock band from Geneva, New York. The group formed in 1997 when Travie McCoy met drummer Matt McGinley during their high school gym class. The band's music displays a wide variety of influences, including hip hop, rock, funk, and reggae. After the addition of guitarist Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo and bassist Eric Roberts in 2003, the group was signed to Fueled by Ramen and Decaydance Records, on which they released their debut album, The Papercut Chronicles. The group gained a strong fanbase while promoting the album, appearing at festivals such as The Bamboozle and Vans Warped Tour.
Relient K is an American rock band formed in 1998 in Canton, Ohio, by Matt Thiessen, Matt Hoopes, and Brian Pittman during their third year in high school and time at Malone University.
