Matthew Hall (born 26 January 1987) is a British actor.
He trained with Stage 84 from a young age and studied at Leeds College of Music on a two-year musical theatre course.
Hall began his work in television working as a supporting artist in programmes, including Emmerdale , A Touch of Frost and My Parents Are Aliens . In 2006, he played lead role Jacko in a BBC Radio 4 drama entitled Mummies and Daddies. The following year, after just missing out on a lead role in Coronation Street , he played Sam Myerson in Series 7's final episode of The Royal . In January 2009 he was in an ITV1 three-part drama called Unforgiven starring Surranne Jones, in which he played the son of Siobhan Finneran and Peter Davison's characters Rufus Ingram. His other work includes the part of Scott Mackay, a young troubled teenager in an episode of the final series of Heartbeat, Tiru in the BBC Radio play 28 by Dawn King and an advert for Neil Hudgell Solicitors.
In February 2010, Hall joined the cast of the touring brand new Take That tribute show Back for Good playing the part of Mark Owen. This was Hall's first long-term professional job. The show has so far been a slow success, with Hall getting rave reviews, including:

Hustle is a British television crime drama series starring Adrian Lester, Robert Glenister and Robert Vaughn. The show premiered on 24 February 2004, and ran for eight series, with its final episode aired on 17 February 2012. The show's premise is on a group of con artists who specialise in "long cons" – extended forms of deceptive frauds that require greater commitment, but offer higher rewards than simple confidence tricks. State of Play is a British television drama series, written by Paul Abbott and directed by David Yates, that was first broadcast on BBC One in 2003. The series tells the story of a newspaper's investigation into the death of a political researcher, and centres on the relationship between the leading journalist, Cal McCaffrey, and his old friend, Stephen Collins, who is a Member of Parliament and the murdered woman's employer. Fifteen cast members reprised their roles from the previous series with three long-serving cast members departing during this series. Jane Hazlegrove reprised her role as paramedic Kathleen "Dixie" Dixon in the premiere episode, following a three month absence. Sunetra Sarker, William Beck and Michael Stevenson reprised their roles as ED consultants Zoe Hanna and Dylan Keogh, and paramedic Iain Dean in October 2014. Charles Venn joined the show's main cast in summer 2015 as senior staff nurse Jacob Masters.

Alistair Brammer joined the cast for a four-month guest stint as receptionist Jack Diamond in December 2015. Three new regular cast members joined the serial in spring 2016: Lloyd Everitt as paramedic Jez Andrews; Jason Durr as staff nurse David Hide; and Jaye Griffiths as consultant Elle Gardner.
