Matthew Caleb Kleinveldt is an English-born South African professional cricketer. Though born and bred in England, Kleinveldt rejected an offer to play for Hampshire due to England's new stern sporting visa requirements. He duly moved back to South Africa to start a cricketing career there. Kleinveldt is also cousin of ex-Protea cricketer Rory Kleinveldt.
S. B. Joel's XI was a team of English cricketers that toured South Africa between November 1924 and February 1925 and played 14 first-class matches and seven other games. The tour was an unofficial one: an official tour of Australia organised by the Marylebone Cricket Club took place at the same time.

The 2019–20 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge was a domestic one-day cricket tournament that took place in South Africa from October to March 2020. The tournament was played in parallel with the 2019–20 CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup, a first-class competition which featured the same teams. On 16 March 2020, Cricket South Africa suspended all cricket in the country for 60 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 24 March 2020, Free State and Northern Cape were named as the joint-winners of the tournament, after finishing top of Groups A and B respectively. This was following the recommendations made by Graeme Smith, the acting Director of Cricket.
Andre Snyman is a South African cricketer. He played in thirteen first-class for Eastern Province between 1985/86 and 1988/89.
