Matthew Scarcella (born 4 March 2004) is an Australian association footballer who currently plays for Sydney FC in the A-League Men.
Scarcella pushed through the youth ranks at National Premier Leagues NSW club Sydney Olympic before signing for Greek sister club Xanthi F.C. with fellow players Mohamed Adam, and Fabian Monge. [1] Whilst at Xanthi, Scarcella was called up for the Australian U23s 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification. [2]
Scarcella made his debut for Sydney FC in the 2023 Australia Cup Round of 32 against the Central Coast Mariners as a second half substitution, contributing with a converted penalty during the penalty shootout as Sydney FC defeated the Mariners 10–9 to progress through to the round of 16 [3]

Central Coast Mariners Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It competes in the A-League Men, under licence from the Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The Mariners were founded in 2004 and are one of the eight original A-League teams. It is the first professional sports club from the Gosford region to compete in a national competition. Despite being considered one of the smallest-market clubs in the league, the Central Coast Mariners have claimed two A-League Championships from five Grand Final appearances and topped the table to win the A-League Premiership twice. The club has also appeared in the AFC Champions League five times.
Daniel Vukovic is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Central Coast Mariners in the A-League and the Australia national team. Vukovic is the holder of several A-League records: he has the most clean sheets of any goalkeeper in A-League history (96), and he is the only goalkeeper to score in the A-League.
Graham James Arnold is an Australian soccer manager and former player. Arnold was appointed to work as a head coach of the Australian national soccer team in 2000. After head coach Frank Farina was sacked in 2005, Arnold worked with Guus Hiddink for the 2006 FIFA World Cup campaign, in which they made the second round of the finals. After Hiddink left, he became interim coach of the Socceroos. Arnold went on to qualify Australia's U23 men's national soccer team for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Arnold then went on to assist Pim Verbeek for qualification of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Arnold went on to take the manager role at A-League club the Central Coast Mariners between 2010 and 2013, where he guided the club to a Premiership and a Championship. He is a member of the Football Federation Australia Football Hall of Fame. Arnold went on to win two Premierships, one Championship and an FFA Cup with Sydney FC. In August 2018, Arnold was appointed head coach of the Socceroos - Australia's senior men's national soccer team.
