Mattias Jorstedt is a Swedish former professional Magic: The Gathering player and poker player. [5] He is most famous for winning Pro Tour Yokohama in 2003 and the fact that he during the 2002-2003 season reached three Pro Tour top eights, winning one, and still only finished second in the player of the year-race 16 points behind winner Kai Budde. Around Scandinavia Jorstedt is also famous for winning the first ever Nordic Championship of Magic held in Denmark in the year 2000. [6]

<i>Magic: The Gathering</i> Collectible card game

Magic: The Gathering is both a collectible and digital collectible card game created by Richard Garfield. Released in 1993 by Wizards of the Coast, Magic was the first trading card game and has approximately twenty million players as of 2015, and over twenty billion Magic cards produced in the period from 2008 to 2016, during which time it grew in popularity.

Kai Budde, is a semi-retired professional Magic: The Gathering player, who holds the record for Pro Tour victories, and for a long time held the records for earnings and lifetime Pro Points. His performances earned him the nicknames "The (German) Juggernaut" and "King of the Grand Prix". Kai left the game in late 2004 to focus on his studies, and his appearances in tournaments are less frequent than in earlier years. Budde is widely considered to be one of the all-time greatest Magic: The Gathering players.

Eric Froehlich is an American professional poker player, professional Magic: The Gathering player, and member of the Magic: The Gathering Hall of Fame. He lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his wife, Magic: The Gathering streamer Athena Huey. As of 2009, Froehlich's total live poker tournament winnings exceed $1,300,000. His 16 cashes at the WSOP account for $867,783 of those winnings.

Kenji Tsumura Japanese player of Magic: The Gathering

Kenji Tsumura is a professional Magic: The Gathering player from Japan. He is one of only eight players to have reached the top eight of a Pro Tour more than five times.

Tomoharu Saitou Magic: The Gathering player

Tomoharu Saitou is one of the most successful professional Magic: The Gathering players and the owner of Hareruya Store in Tokyo.

Masashi Oiso is a Japanese Magic: The Gathering player. He is one of the most successful players to have played on the Pro Tour, being one of only seven players to have reached the top eight six times. Along with Kenji Tsumura, he is the player with the most top eights to have never won a Pro Tour. In 2012 Oiso was voted into the Magic: The Gathering Hall of Fame. His induction was conducted at Pro Tour Return to Ravnica in October 2012.

Masahiko Morita (森田 雅彦) is a Japanese Magic: The Gathering player. Despite never having reached the top eight of a Pro Tour, he is one of the most successful players on the Grand Prix circuit, especially on home turf. He is one of the players with the most lifetime Pro Points without a Pro Tour top eight, and is one of fourteen players to have won four or more Grand Prix.

Steven O'Mahoney-Schwartz is an American Magic: The Gathering player. At the height of his career in the late 1990s, he was considered one of the best players. He is well known as a friend and teammate to Jon Finkel.

Tsuyoshi Ikeda is a Japanese Magic: The Gathering player. His success include four top eights at the Pro Tour level, and six on the Grand Prix level, including one win. He is ranked 12th on lifetime pro points.

Michael Pustilnik is an American Magic: The Gathering player. His success include a win at Pro Tour Los Angeles 2001, two other Pro Tour top eights, and seven Grand Prix top eights. Pustilnik is one of six players who won a Pro Tour, a Grand Prix, and a Masters tournament.

Osyp Lebedowicz is an American Magic: The Gathering player. He won Pro Tour Venice 2003, and is also known for his involvement in developing the Aether Vial affinity archetype.

Joel Larsson is a Swedish professional Magic: The Gathering player. He is most known for winning the Pro Tour Magic Origins competition in August 2015, and for his skills in limited formats. Joel had the highest win percentage in the world in limited matches during the 2011-2012 Pro Tour season.
