Norberto Mauro da Costa Mulenessa known as Maurito (born June 24, 1981, in Luanda) is an Angolan football striker and winger. He was banned for 5 years from playing football in certain jurisdictions for pushing referee Yuichi Nishimura in a 2008 African Cup of Nations match against Egypt. A teammate and the Angolan team as a whole were also banned from certain areas for 5 years.

The airline was originally set up by the government as DTA – Divisão dos Transportes Aéreos in 1938, rechristened TAAG Angola Airlines in 1973, and gained flag carrier status in 1975. Estádio da Cidadela is a stadium in Luanda, Angola. It is used mostly for football matches, while sometimes hosting cultural events, including musical concerts. It is part of the Complexo Desportivo da Cidadela, along with the Pavilhão da Cidadela, Pavilhão Anexo and Pavilhão Anexo II. While originally holding 60,000 people, in 2006, the stadium's upper ring has been declared unsafe by the CAF and banned for public use. Therefore, the capacity currently holds 40,000 spectators
Clube Desportivo 1º de Agosto is a multisports club from Luanda, Angola. The club, founded 1 August 1977, is attached to the Angolan armed forces, which is its sponsor. Its main team competes in men's football, and its professional basketball team is also noteworthy within the club. The club's colors are red and black. The club won its first title in football, the Angolan League, in 1979. and in basketball in 1980. Handball and Volleyball have also won many titles to the club.
Girabola, or Campeonato Nacional de Futebol de Séniores Masculinos, is the top division of Angolan football. It is organized by the Angolan Football Federation.
Grupo Desportivo Interclube, usually known as Interclube or Inter de Luanda, is an Angolan football club based in Luanda. The club is attached to the Angolan police force. Interclube is one of the two clubs based in Luanda with a stadium of its own as all the remaining clubs in the capital play their home matches at the state-owned 11 de Novembro and Coqueiros. The stadium, built in 2004, has an 10,000-seat capacity.
Fabrice Alcebiades Maieco, commonly known as Akwá, is an Angolan former professional football player who played as a forward for the Angolan national team. From his international debut in 1995, Akwá represented Angola 78 times, scoring a record 39 goals. He played for them in three Africa Cup of Nations and captained the side at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Akwá has a brother, Rasca, who was a professional football player for Atlético Sport Aviação in Angola.
