Maury Harris is a managing director and chief economist for the Americas for UBS. [1] Harris was named among the 2012 Bloomberg 50 Most Influential people in global finance. [2]

It is distinguished from the other economist positions by the broader scope of responsibility encompassing the planning, supervision, and coordination of the economic research.
