Klagenfurt am Wörthersee is the capital and largest city of the Austrian state of Carinthia, as well as of the historical region of Carinthia including Slovene Carinthia. With a population of 104,862, it is the sixth-largest city in Austria after Vienna, Graz, Linz, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. The city is the bishop's seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt and home to the University of Klagenfurt, the Carinthian University of Applied Sciences and the Gustav Mahler Private University for Music. Klagenfurt is considered the cultural centre of the Carinthian Slovenes, one of Austria's indigenous minorities.
Maximilian Nepomuk Mutzke is a German singer, songwriter and television personality. He gained public interest in early 2004 when he won SSDSGPS, a talent contest hosted in Stefan Raab's late-night show TV total. Mutzke subsequently qualified for and won the national pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, Germany 12 Points!, and thus represented Germany with his debut single "Can't Wait Until Tonight" that year, eventually finishing eighth in a field of 24 participants. Meanwhile, "Can't Wait Until Tonight" debuted atop the German singles chart and became a top five hit in Austria and Switzerland. His eponymous debut album, a mixture of soul and pop songs in German and English language, was released in January 2005 and also reached number one in Germany, where it was certified gold by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI).
The University of Klagenfurt is a federal Austrian research university and the largest research and higher education institution in the state of Carinthia. It has its campus in Klagenfurt.

She went on to finish fourth at the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 representing Luxembourg, sixth at the Eurovision Song Contest 1978 representing Germany, and thirteenth at the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 representing Luxembourg again.

Immer wieder Sonntags is a German television entertainment show which is broadcast live every Sunday in the summer months from Europa Park in Rust, Southwest Germany. The series was first aired in 1995 and is produced by Werner Kimmig GmbH on behalf of Südwestrundfunk (SWR). There are usually 10-14 episodes aired during the summer season live from the theme park along with Das Beste aus Immer Wieder Sonntags. In 2002 a winter edition called Immer Wieder Samstags was broadcast for three Saturdays. The show takes its name and opening song which is sung by Stefan Mross from the 1973 hit by Eurovision singers Cindy & Bert.

Dreksler has created many popular and successful German television shows including Schreinemakers Live and RTL Samstag Nacht. He co-owns his TV production and publishing company Pacific Productions with his wife Dr. Babs Ahland-Dreksler.
Herbert Köfer was a German actor, voice artist, and television presenter. He was the first German TV news presenter for the East German Deutscher Fernsehfunk, and also presented the station's last news before the reunification of Germany. His first theatre engagement was in 1940, and he kept acting until the age of 100. Köfer played an SS-Hauptsturmführer in the 1963 film Nackt unter Wölfen. He was known for detective series such as Polizeiruf 110 and for comic roles. He founded his own troupe, Köfers Komödiantenbühne, in 2003, and published memoirs.

Formerly known as Musikantenstadl which was produced for over 30 years, the show was remodelled into what is now the Stadlshow in an attempt to attract younger viewers. Focused on Mozart roles such as Don Giovanni and Papageno, he also appeared at the Schwetzingen Festival in the world premiere of Salvatore Sciarrino's Luci mie traditrici.
