Arthur Alvin A. Aguilar is a Filipino martial artist and mixed martial arts promoter better known as Alvin Aguilar. He was born on April 28, 1974 in Bacolod, Philippines. He is the president and founder of the Universal Reality Combat Championship (2002–present); He is also the founder and head coach of DEFTAC Ribeiro Jiu-jitsu Philippines (1996–present.) and is currently serving as the president of the Wrestling Association of the Philippines. He started training in martial arts at the age of 9, first in Karate, Arnis and Greco-Roman wrestling. Having spent over 30 years of his life to the study of multiple martial arts forms including Sari-an, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Yaw-Yan, Pekiti Tirsia Kali, etc., he has developed his own unique fighting style specialized in grappling, knife, and street fighting. He is also known for being the first home-grown Filipino Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt.
Mauricio Villardo Reis is best known as Mauricio Villardo. Professor Villardo is a Master Instructor and practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He holds a sixth-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Royler Gracie, the head instructor of Gracie Humaitá. Mauricio is also a former World Champion of the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship held by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF).

With 8x gold medals, as of Worlds 2019, as well as multiple major tournaments titles, she holds second place for most IBJJF World Championship titles at black belt level behind Beatriz Mesquita. She is a member of the IBJJF Hall of Fame.

Jessa Khan, is a Cambodian-Mexican-American ju-jitsu practitioner. She represented Cambodia at the 2018 Asian Games and claimed a gold medal in the women's 49kg ne-waza event. This was also the first gold medal to be received by Cambodia which happened to be unexpected in the sport of ju-jitsu during the 2018 Asian Games. Khan is a second Gold Medal Cambodia's Asian Games history after Taekwondo Gold 2014. She is a daughter of a Mexican American mother with Cambodian American father. Her Facebook page says she took up jiu-jitsu at age 12 and shows her decked out with a vast array of her medals. She was born in Texas and resides in Southern California.

Venla Luukkonen is a Finnish grappler and Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner. In 2014, she became the first Finnish female black belt and the first Finn to win the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championship. Since 2014, in addition to winning other major tournaments, Luukkonen reached the world championship final three more times, winning gold again in 2018.
Laurence Cousin Fouillat is a French submission grappler and a third degree black belt Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor and instructor.
