Maysoon al-Eryani (born 24 November 1987) is a poet and translator from Yemen, who writes in Arabic and English. She was born in Sana'a and has a BA in English Literature from Sana'a University.

Laureate of the International Prize for Arabic Fiction (IPAF) in 2008, is known for his contemporary literary style and sometimes socially critical works, some of which have been censored in Yemen. Until 2019, he has published five novels, four collections of short stories, a play and a film screenplay.
Ramziya Abbas al-Iryani or al-Eryani was a pioneering Yemeni novelist, writer, diplomat and feminist. She was also the niece of the former president Abdul Rahman al-Iryani.

He was born in Beit Jala, near Bethlehem, and has lived in Jordan, Beirut, Damascus, and Tunis. His book “Like a Straw Bird it Follows me” translated by Fady Joudah was awarded the 2013 International Griffin Poetry Prize. His most recent book of poetry, The Silence That Remains, also translated by Fady Joudah, was published in 2017 by Copper Canyon Press.

Ahmed Abd Al Rahman Al Moulami (1917-2004) was a Yemeni writer, born in Utmah, in the Dhamar Governorate, currently. He was a member of the Poetry Society of the Arab Writers Union in Syria, and a member of the Yemeni Writers Union. He received his first education in his village. He memorized the linguistic and jurisprudential text and then moved to Irian village, and learn from its scholars, then moved to Sana’a, where he attended the science and literature councils. He served as ambassador of Yemen to Egypt, then ambassador of Yemen to the State of Ethiopia. He was politically active in opposing hukm al'ayima and supported the revolutionaries, which exposed him to imprisonment twice for eight years and had to flee to Egypt for a period until the declaration of the establishment of the Republic of Yemen in 1962 and the outbreak of the North Yemen Civil War.
Wijdan Al-Sayegh is an Iraqi writer, poet, and critic born in Baghdad in 1967. She earned a master's degree with a grade of excellence in 1992 from University of Mosul on her thesis. Local and Arabic magazines have published tens of her poetry and studies and she is currently the managing editor of the New Poetry Magazine – Middle Eastern studies department in Michigan, United States.
Abdelnasser El-Gohary, is an Egyptian poet. So far, he has published more than fifteen collections of poetry and two plays of the long text. He received several awards, the most recent of which was the Classical Poetry Award from the Egyptian Writers Union in 2016. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Writers Union in 2018/2020, hosted by the Sino-Arab Forum - the first session - Creativity on the New Silk Road in Cairo - 2018.
