The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) is the aerial warfare branch of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. The air force is primarily responsible for air defence of Bangladesh's sovereign territory as well as providing air support to the Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy. Furthermore, the BAF has a territorial role in providing tactical and strategic air transport and logistics capability for the country.
Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) is a public agricultural university in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. It was founded in 1961 by the Pakistani government as East Pakistan Agricultural University. It is the third-oldest university in the country.

Mohammad Shamsuzzoha was a Bengali writer, professor and proctor at Rajshahi University. Shamsuzzoha was the first university teacher in erstwhile East Pakistan who was killed by the Pakistani Military forces at the eve of 1969 revolution movement of East Pakistan, which ultimately became the Bangladesh Liberation War. In 2008, he was awarded the Independence Day Award.
Jagannath University (JnU) is a public university located in Sadarghat, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Founded as Dhaka Brahma School in 1858 and renamed Jagannath School in 1872, the institution was taken over by the Pakistani government in 1968, while Bangladesh was still a part of Pakistan. It opened graduate and post-graduate programmes in 1975 and was approved as a full public university in 2005.
Transport between India and Bangladesh bears much historical and political significance for both countries, which possessed no ground transport links for 43 years, starting with the partition of Bengal and India in 1947. It was led by the students backed by various political parties such as the Awami League, National Awami Party, and Communist party of East Pakistan and their student wings, and the cultural fronts against Muhammad Ayub Khan, the president of Pakistan in protest of the oppressive military rule, political repressions, Agartala Conspiracy Case and the incarceration of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other Bengali nationalists.
Noakhali Zilla School is a boy's high school located in the Maijdee town of Noakhali, Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest schools in the country. The school was established in 1850.(EIIN NUMBER 107540).
Col. Shawkat Ali was a Bangladeshi politician who served as a deputy speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad. He was a member of the Awami League. He was one of the accused in the historic Agartala Conspiracy Case and a freedom fighter in the Liberation War of Bangladesh.

Tungipara Sheikh family of Tungipara is one of the two most prominent Bangladeshi political families, other being the Zia family. The family primarily consists of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Sheikh Hasina, Sheikh Rehana and their relatives. Their political involvement has traditionally revolved around the Bangladesh Awami League.
The military coup in Bangladesh on August 15 of 1975 was launched by mid-ranking army officers in order to assassinate founding president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, whose administration post-independence grew corrupt and reportedly authoritarian until he established a one-party state-based government led by the socialist party Bangladesh Krishak Sramik Awami League. Mujib, along with his resident family members, were killed during the coup but was survived by his two then-expat daughters, one of them being future prime minister Sheikh Hasina. The officers were led by Capt. Abdul Majed, Major Sayed Farooq-ur-Rahman, Major Khandaker Abdur Rashidand Major Shariful Haque Dalim.
Aminul Haque was a Bangladeshi lawyer. He served as the Attorney General of Bangladesh. He was married to Farida Akhter, a faculty member at Jagannath University. He was the eldest brother of Seargent Zahurul Haq who was accused in the Agartala Conspiracy Case and killed by the Pakistan military at Dhaka Cantonment in 1969.

He was awarded the Independence Award, the highest civilian award of Bangladesh, posthumously in 2023 for his contribution to the Bangladesh Liberation War by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He was an accused in the Agartala Conspiracy Case. He had served as the director general of medical services of Bangladesh Army after the war.
