Meadowlark are a British indie pop duo composed of Kate McGill and Daniel Broadley. [1]
Meadowlark were initially a trio made up of McGill, Broadley, and Carl Jones. McGill, who had until that point been known for her covers of popular songs, which she posted on her YouTube channel, [2] announced the formation of the band on 22 March 2013. On the same day, they released a live version of a track titled "Family Tree", which focuses on Kate's home life.[ citation needed ] Meadowlark released their first EP, Three Six Five, on 26 May 2014. In September of that year, it was announced on social media that Carl Jones would no longer be part of the band, signifying a fresh start.[ citation needed ] Kate and Daniel released their first EP as a duo, named Dual, on 30 March 2015. Their single "Eyes Wide" gained popularity through the radio show BBC Music Introducing , and they performed at Glastonbury Festival on the BBC Introducing stage later that year.[ citation needed ] In 2016, Meadowlark released the Paraffin EP, followed by two singles, "Quicksand" and "Headlights".
Meadowlark's debut album, Postcards, came out on 30 June 2017. [3] [4]
On 26 November 2021, the duo released their sophomore album, titled Nightstorm. [5]
On 3 February 2023, Meadowlark released the single "Full Me, Half You". [6] On 10 March 2023, the single "What's It Like to Love Me" came out. [7] [8] On 22 March 2023, the band posted on their Twitter account that their third studio album, Hiraeth, would be released on 6 October 2023. [9] On 13 April 2023, it was announced that Meadowlark would be supporting English singer-songwriter Sivu on his headline show at the Courtyard Theatre, London in June 2023; the show would be Meadowlark's first live performance in five years. [10] However, on 12 June 2023, McGill tested positive for COVID-19, so the band was replaced by Badhead Hyland and Bea Stewart as support acts. [11] [12] The song "I Want Love (Like I Give My Love)" was released on 14 April 2023. The band's next single, "Brainwashed", followed on 19 May 2023. [13]

Eve 6 is an American rock band formed in 1995 in Southern California, best known for their hit singles "Inside Out" and "Here's to the Night". They disbanded in 2004, returned for numerous tours in 2007 with a new lineup, and finally reunited with all three original members in early 2011. They signed to Fearless Records in the spring of that year, and released their fourth album Speak in Code, containing the singles "Victoria" and "Curtain," in April 2012. In 2021, they released a new EP, Grim Value, and in 2022, they released a full-length album on Velocity Records titled Hyper Relevisation.
Darren Stanley Hayes is an Australian singer, songwriter, music producer and composer. He was the frontman and singer of the pop duo Savage Garden until their disbandment. Their 1997 album Savage Garden peaked at number 1 in Australia, number 2 in the United Kingdom and number 3 in the United States. It spawned the singles "I Want You", "To the Moon and Back", and Australian and US number 1 "Truly Madly Deeply". The duo followed the success of their debut album with Affirmation (1999), which provided additional hits such as Australian and US number 1 "I Knew I Loved You", and Australian number 3 "The Animal Song". Savage Garden parted ways in 2001.
Franz Ferdinand are a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 2002. The band's original line-up was composed of Alex Kapranos, Nick McCarthy, Bob Hardy and Paul Thomson. Julian Corrie and Dino Bardot joined the band in 2017 after McCarthy left during the previous year, and Audrey Tait joined the band after Thomson left in 2021. The band is one of the more popular post-punk revival bands, garnering multiple UK top 20 hits. They have been nominated for several Grammy Awards and have received two Brit Awards—winning one for Best British Group—as well as one NME Award.
Damien Troy Jurado is an American singer-songwriter from Seattle, Washington, United States. Over the years, he has released albums on Sub Pop, Secretly Canadian, Loose, and is currently on his own label Maraqopa Records.
Rascal Flatts was an American country music group founded in 1999 in Nashville, Tennessee. The group consisted of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney. DeMarcus is LeVox's second cousin, a brother-in-law of country music singer James Otto, and a former member of the contemporary Christian music duo East to West. LeVox and DeMarcus are both natives of Columbus, Ohio.
Aly & AJ is an American pop rock duo consisting of sisters Aly Michalka and AJ Michalka from Torrance, California. They signed with Hollywood Records and in 2005, they released their debut album Into the Rush. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA and contained the singles "Rush" and "Chemicals React". They followed this release with the albums Acoustic Hearts of Winter (2006) and Insomniatic (2007). The latter contained the Platinum single "Potential Breakup Song", which was a top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
Breathe Carolina are an American electronic music duo from Denver, Colorado. The duo formed in 2007 consisting of David Schmitt and Kyle Even. They later expanded to a full band whose best-known lineup included Schmitt, Even, drummer Eric Armenta, keytarist Joshua Aragon and DJ Luis Bonet. In 2013, Even left the group, while Tommy Cooperman joined that year. Breathe Carolina is currently composed of Schmitt and Cooperman.
Math the Band is an American chiptune-based synthpunk band from Providence, Rhode Island formed in 2002 by Kevin Steinhauser. Originally being a solo project by Steinhauser, the band's style has been sometimes called Nintendocore. The band has performed over 1000 shows throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the United Kingdom, touring with bands, artists and rappers such as Andrew W.K., Japanther, Wheatus, MC Frontalot, Horse the Band MC Chris, Peelander-Z, Anamanaguchi and MC Lars. Math the Band has been featured in several magazines such as Venus Zine and Keyboard Magazine, and were also featured on NPR Music. Still, with band members spread across the United States, Math the Band is based in Providence, Rhode Island and are a part of Providence's AS220 and have performed there multiple times.
Jordan Mark Witzigreuter, known professionally as The Ready Set, is an American singer-songwriter from Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. He is the lead vocalist and sole member of the act, using a backup band while on tour. Janice Sue Meghan Myers, known professionally as Meg Myers, is an American singer-songwriter and musician. Originally from Tennessee, Myers moved to Los Angeles to pursue music and met Doctor Rosen Rosen, who signed her to his production company. In 2012, Myers released her first EP, Daughter in the Choir. Later that year, she signed to Atlantic Records, with which she released the Make a Shadow EP (2014) and her debut album, Sorry (2015). John Stephen Sudduth, known professionally as Mikky Ekko, is an American recording artist and record producer from Nashville, signed to Interscope Records. He is best known for writing and being featured on Rihanna's 2013 single "Stay", which charted in multiple countries, becoming Ekko's first-charting material. Ekko released Time, his debut studio album, in January 2015 through RCA Records. Fame, his second album, was released in November 2018 on Interscope Records.
X Ambassadors is an American pop rock band from Ithaca, New York that consists of lead vocalist Sam Harris, keyboardist Casey Harris, and drummer Adam Levin. Russ Flynn is a touring member who plays guitar and bass. Their most notable songs include "Jungle", "Renegades", and "Unsteady". Galantis is the Swedish group of electronic music of record producer Christian "Bloodshy" Karlsson. Formerly, it was a duo, alongside rising musician Style of Eye, until he decided to part ways with the project shortly after their sophomore album The Aviary in 2017. However, he made appearances in live performances and music videos as part of the project up until 2021.
The Score is an American alternative rock duo formed in New York City in 2011, now based in Los Angeles. The group consists of Eddie Anthony Ramirez and Edan Chai Dover. Chris Coombs and Logan Baldwin are touring members for the band. Suicideboys are an American hip hop duo from New Orleans, Louisiana, founded in 2014 by cousins Ruby da Cherry and Scrim. She originally gained fame by posting short comedy sketches on Vine as well as parodies of musicians Frank Ocean, Tyler, the Creator, and Mitski. Since then she has garnered fame as an indie pop musician with several EPs including the Transgender Street Legend trilogy and the song "Revolution Lover". Her debut studio album, T.I.A.P.F.Y.H. was released on June 4, 2021, and her second studio album You Are Not Alone Enough is expected to be released in the near future.
Black Dresses are a Canadian noise pop duo consisting of Ada Rook and Devi McCallion. Their debut album, WASTEISOLATION, was released independently in 2018. The duo released three additional albums, THANK YOU (2019), LOVE AND AFFECTION FOR STUPID LITTLE BITCHES (2019), and Peaceful as Hell (2020), before breaking up in 2020. Despite maintaining their declaration of disbandment in 2020, Black Dresses has released two additional albums, Forever in Your Heart (2021) and Forget Your Own Face (2022).
James Page, known professionally as Sivu, is an English singer and songwriter. He has released two studio albums, Something on High (2014) and Sweet Sweet Silent (2017). His third studio album, Wild Horse Running, was released on 9 June 2023. The album was preceded by the singles "Wild Horse Running", "Apollo", "Choral Light" and "Overtime Lover". Sivu's longtime producer and collaborator is Charlie Andrew.
