Medalon is a fantasy novel written by Australian author Jennifer Fallon. It is the first in a trilogy titled The Demon Child; the other two are Treason Keep and Harshini .
Medalon Country is surrounded by Karien, threatening from the north with Fardohnya and Hythria in the south. For hundreds of years the Medalonians co-existed peacefully with the Harshini, a mythical race that is now long gone and the Sisters of the Blade now rule from the Citadel. The Harshini and their demons are thought to be extinct and Medalon has an uneasy peace with the other countries.
R'shiel Tenragan and her half-brother Tarja, children of the current First Sister, find themselves caught up in the political schemes of the Sisters. When their mother's plotting becomes too much the siblings flee and find a world in turmoil. Meanwhile, Brak, a Harshini outcast, is called to find the demon child, the half-human child of the dead Harshini King, Lorandranek.
Phoebe Halliwell is a fictional character from the American television series Charmed, played by Alyssa Milano from October 7, 1998, until May 21, 2006. The character was originally played by Lori Rom in the unaired pilot episode. However, Rom quit the series, and a new pilot was filmed with Milano in the role of Phoebe. The Demon Child Trilogy follows R'shiel Tenragan as she accepts her fate as the demon child and tries to hold the fabric of her world together while defeating the Karien god, Xaphista, and bringing about some much-needed changes to the four main countries of Medalon, Hythria, Fardohnya and Karien with help from multiple influential characters she befriends. The Wolfblade Trilogy, set about 30 years before, follows the life of Marla Wolfblade from the age of 15 until she is in her 40s. It also follows stories of various characters intertwined with that of Marla Wolfblade and explains much of the history in The Demon Child History as it follows Damin Wolfblade and Marla's other children growing up and how the state of affairs presented in The Demon Child Trilogy came to be. There is a fifth country introduced to the trilogy as well, Denika. It is off the map and indicated as south of Hythria and Fardohnya across the Dregian Ocean, accessed by ship.

Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon is a Japanese anime television series produced by Sunrise. It is a sequel to the Inuyasha anime series, which itself is based on the original manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. It is the story of Towa Higurashi and Setsuna, Sesshomaru and Rin's twin daughters, and Moroha, Inuyasha and Kagome Higurashi's teenage daughter. The series' first season aired from October 2020 to March 2021. A second season premiered in October 2021.
