The Media Operations Group was a nationally recruited, specialist Army Reserve unit and was part of the British Army.
The Media Operations Group engaged in enabling media reporting of operations involving the British Army both nationally and internationally, as well as in training and exercises. It was set up to run press centres, as well as organise press conferences and interviews with the media. Personnel underwent specialist training operate alongside regular units. [1]
Under Army 2020, the Media Operations Group moved into the Army's newly-formed Security Assistance Group (SAG), ultimately becoming subsumed within the SAG's successor, 77th Brigade (United Kingdom), and ceasing to operate as a formed unit.

The Commandos Marine are the special operation forces (SOF) of the French Navy. The Commandos Marine are nicknamed Bérets Verts. They operate under the Maritime Force of Sailor riflemen and Navy Commandos (FORFUSCO) and form part of the French Special Operations Command.

The British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) is a British Army unit located at the vast training area of Canadian Forces Base Suffield near Suffield, Alberta, Canada. BATUS is the British Army's largest armoured training facility, and it can accommodate live-firing and tactical effect simulation (TES) exercises up to battle group level. CFB Suffield is seven times the size of Salisbury Plain Training Area and 19% the size of Northern Ireland, offering the British Army the ability to conduct large exercises that UK military bases cannot accommodate.
The National Security Guard (NSG), commonly known as Black Cats, is a counter-terrorism unit of India under the Ministry of Home Affairs. It was founded on 16 October 1984, following Operation Blue Star, to combat terrorist activities and protect states against internal disturbances. Formalised in the Parliament of India under the National Security Guard Act, 1986. It is one of the seven Central Armed Police Forces of India.
The Home Army Silent Unseen Paratroopers GROM Military Unit, simply known as the GROM Military Unit, is a Polish special forces unit and forms part of the Special Troops Command of the Polish Armed Forces. The Royal Australian Corps of Transport (RACT) is an administrative corps within the Australian Army. The RACT is ranked tenth in seniority of the corps of the Australian Army, and is the most senior logistics corps. It was formed on 1 June 1973 as an amalgamation of the Royal Australian Army Service Corps (RAASC) and Royal Australian Engineers Transportation Service. The RACT is responsible for the operation of army surface transport assets, movement control, terminal and postal services, and Army aspects of air logistic support.
Special reconnaissance (SR) is conducted by small units, such as a recon team, made up of highly trained military personnel, usually from special forces units and/or military intelligence organizations. Special reconnaissance teams operate behind enemy lines, avoiding direct combat and detection by the enemy. As a role, SR is distinct from commando operations, but both are often carried out by the same units. The SR role frequently includes covert direction of airstrikes and indirect fire, in areas deep behind enemy lines, placement of remotely monitored sensors, and preparations for other special forces. Like other special forces, SR units may also carry out direct action and unconventional warfare, including guerrilla operations.
39 Canadian Brigade Group is a Canadian Forces formation of the Canadian Army under the 3rd Canadian Division. The 77th Brigade is a British Army formation, created in January 2015 by renaming the Security Assistance Group which was created under the Army 2020 concept. Its broad purpose is to conduct psychological operations. It is based at Denison Barracks in Hermitage, Berkshire and became operational in April 2015.
The 44 Pathfinder Platoon is part of the 44 Parachute Regiment. The pathfinder is a trained and specialized paratrooper, who performs covertly behind enemy lines, either in small groups or in collaboration with other reconnaissance units.
