Megen, Haren en Macharen was a municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It included the villages of Megen, Haren, and Macharen.

Megen, Haren en Macharen existed from 1821 to 1994, when it became part of Oss. [1]

Schumaker Pond is a 35-acre pond created by damming Beaverdam Creek, in Wicomico County, Maryland. The pond is owned by the City of Salisbury and is on the eastern end of the Salisbury City Park. The maximum water depth is 5 feet near the dam, in the old creek channel. In the 1950s-60s Schumaker Pond was popular for swimming, but swimming has since been banned due to the large quantities of E-Coli bacteria in the water. Since then, the pond is often used for fishing.

Güvercin Islet is a Mediterranean islet of Turkey. It is a part of Silifke ilçe (district) of Mersin Province. It is at 36°14′38″N33°48′38″E and situated about 200 metres (660 ft) to main land. The islet is quite small; only 3,000 square metres (32,000 sq ft). There are ruins of late Roman Empire era in this otherwise unnotable island. The ruins are in the north east side of the island. The ruins probably belonged to a mansion. The construction material is rectangular stone. There are tombs, ceramics and a part of a mosaic floor in the island.

Haren Prison is a new prison in Haren in the north-eastern part of Brussels, Belgium. It is 9.8 kilometres (6.1 mi) from Brussels-South railway station, and is near Brussels Airport, Vilvoorde Viaduct and the planned Uplace shopping centre in Machelen in Flemish Brabant, just outside Brussels. It is said to be the largest prison complex ever built in Belgium, and is intended to replace the old Saint-Gilles Prison, Forest Prison and Berkendael Prison. Three cell wings in Saint-Gilles will remain in use until the end of 2024. The women's prison in Berkendael is being converted into a detention centre for about 60 short-term prisoners.
