Melba is the sixth album by singer Melba Moore, released in late 1976.
Exiled: A Law & Order Movie is a 1998 (two-hour-format) television film based on the Law & Order police procedural and legal drama television series; it originally aired on NBC. Written by Charles Kipps, the film revolves around Noth's character, Detective Mike Logan. Kipps received a 1999 Edgar Award for his screenplay.

The song won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance early in 1976 for songs recorded in 1975.

For the recordings, the group teamed up with Charles Kipps and Van McCoy, who by then had a disco hit with a song called "The Hustle". The band also covers the Stevie Wonder song "As", which appeared on his Songs in the Key of Life disc from the same year. More Stuff, like its predecessor, attained gold status in the U.S.

He was at one time a member of the group Passion. He is also the musical director and conductor for NBC's Saturday Night Live (SNL) Band, with which he has played since 1981. Since 1986 he has been a member of The Blues Brothers band. He was the husband of singer and chorist Janice Pendarvis, who sang for Roberta Flack, Sting, Philip Glass, David Bowie, and the Naked Brothers Band.
