Melodic Revolution Records (MRR) was formed in October 2004 by Nick Katona and his wife Jennifer. It began out as a music store in Clinton, NY selling compact discs, DVDs, Vinyl and memorabilia.

In October 2005, an art gallery was added to the shop, simply called "Revolution Gallery". In June 2006 the "Revolution Gallery" was expanded by an additional 400 square feet and became a live venue known as "Live at The Revolution" at night and "Revolution Gallery" by day. The Kevin Thompson Trio was the first to play this new site. This started a new tradition of a live performance from local artists such as Rocky Graziano, Ryan Miller, Dave Snediker and The Jellyfish, as well as National and International touring artists such as Bless the Fall, As Tall As Lions, Alesana, Flutter Effect & Reed Foehl to name a few.

In 2006 Nick created and launched the Clinton Art and Music Festival held in the Historic Village of Clinton, New York.

2006 also saw the launch of Melodic Revolution Records (MRR) as a new independent label. The first Artist to join that label's roster was California based Progressive Rock/AOR band Echos Landing for their debut release "Closer To You" and soon followed by Arizona solo artist Laurie Larson for her sophomore release "Aquila".

A year after Melodic Revolution Records was established it relocated to Orlando, Florida where it has grown from a roster of two artists to dozens of bands and artists. [1] with close to a hundred releases. MRR is known mainly as a rock & progressive music label with artists from many countries, such as Aisles, Leon Alvarado, Amadeus Awad, Paul D'Adamo, Anuryzm, [2] Backhand, Jim Crean, Andres Guazzelli, Darrel Treech- Birch, Corvus Stone, D Drive, Don Mancuso, Forever Twelve, Gekko Projekt, Kristoffer Gildenlöw, ifsounds, Joe Macre, Kinetic Element, Kracked Earth, Don Mancuso, Morpheus Rising, Murky Red, NeverWake, Odin's Court, Peter Matuchniak, Nth Ascension, Marco Ragni, Port Mahadia, Progland, The Room, Scarlet Hollow, Solstice Coil, [3] Stratospheerius, Sunshine & Bullets, Sun King Rising, Time Horizon, Thoughts Factory, Transport Aerian, [4] Unified Past, Vitriol, Wings Of Destiny, among others.

Melodic Revolution Records, in addition to other activities, as well maintains a progressive music-related social network and music news blog & website Power Of Prog. [5] In January 2018 the label launched its own radio station Melodic Revolution Radio. January 2019 sees the launch of PeacockSunRise Records a spin-off of Melodic Revolution Records. 2020 ReZonatz the second internet music news blog is launched.

Shadow Gallery is an American progressive metal band formed in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania during the early 1980s. It was originally called Sorcerer. After changing their name to Shadow Gallery and recording a short 8-track demo, the band was signed to Magna Carta Records in 1991. Shadow Gallery's eponymous debut was released the following year in Japan and Europe. In mid-2005, Shadow Gallery released their fifth studio album, Room V, on the European-American independent label Inside Out.

Peacock Records was an American record label, founded in 1949 by Don Robey in Houston, Texas, United States.

Inside Out Music is a German progressive rock record label originally based in Kleve, North Rhine-Westphalia, and dedicated to the publication of progressive rock, progressive metal and related styles. In 2009, it formed a partnership with Century Media Records and moved its base of operations to Dortmund, also in North Rhine-Westphalia. In August 2015, Century Media was acquired by Sony Music and became its premier label for progressive music.

Cherry Red Records is a British independent record label founded in Malvern, Worcestershire by Iain McNay in 1978. The label has released recordings by Dead Kennedys, Everything but the Girl, The Monochrome Set, and Felt, among others, as well as the compilation album Pillows & Prayers. In addition to releasing new music, Cherry Red also acts as an umbrella for individual imprints and catalogue specialists.

While Heaven Wept was an American epic doom metal band based in Dale City, Virginia. The primary writer and overall engine of the band was mainman Tom Phillips. Their melodic, classically influenced style could be compared to bands such as Solitude Aeturnus and Solstice ; however, 2003's acclaimed Of Empires Forlorn saw the band branching out into a variety of metal and progressive styles. This trend continues on their 2009 album, Vast Oceans Lachrymose, and on their 2011 album, Fear of Infinity.

Don Mancuso is an American rock music guitarist and songwriter best known for his role as guitarist and co-writer for the rock band Black Sheep as well as The Lou Gramm Band and The Voice of Foreigner. He also has a successful solo career and continues to work with Phil Naro in DDrive. He is also working with Regi Hendrix on his first solo effort.

Stratospheerius are an American progressive rock band based in New York City. They are led by electric violinist Joe Deninzon, who also plays the mandolin and serves as the band's lead vocalist.
