Autumn Affair is an Australian television series made by and aired by Network Seven station ATN-7, and also shown in Melbourne on Nine Network station GTV-9. Television in Australia had only been broadcasting since 1956 and Seven was the first commercial station to make drama a priority. It premiered 24 October 1958 and continued until 1959. The series was the first ever Australian television soap opera. It was also the second regular Australian-produced dramatic television series of any kind, with previous locally produced drama consisting of religious series The House on the Corner, and one-off plays largely aired on ABC.
Take That was one of the earliest Australian television series. It debuted in late 1957 and ran till March 1959. As was often the case with early Australian television, it aired only on a single station, in this case HSV-7, in Melbourne.

Music for You was an Australian television series. Little information is available on the series. It aired from 1958 to 1960 on Sydney station TCN-9, and starred pianist Isador Goodman. Aired on Sundays, the time-slot varied. In September 1958 the series aired at 4:30PM while by May 1960 it aired at 1:30PM. It was Goodman's second television series, following the 1956-57 Melbourne series The Isador Goodman Show. Well known in Australia at the time, he was also heard on radio during the 1950s.
Choice of the People is an Australian daytime television series which aired on Sydney television station ATN-7 from 25 November 1957 to 3 October 1958. It was replaced on the schedule by Melody with Milton (1958-1960), which featured the same host.

Counterpoints is an Australian television series which aired in 1958 on Sydney station TCN-9, debuting circa 29 August of that year. The series featured Norma Martyn and Pamela Page, and featured comment and gossip on what women were doing, buying and wearing in Sydney, Australia. It represents an early example of a Sydney-produced lifestyle-themed television series. At the time most Australian series aired in a single city only, which was also the case with Counterpoints. It is not known if any of the episodes exist as kinescope recordings, the method used to record live and as-live TV in the days before Australian stations had video-tape.
Eunice Gardiner Presents is an Australian television series which aired in 1958 on Sydney station TCN-9. The series starred pianist Eunice Gardiner, who on the series played the piano and interviewed personalities in music. The series aired on Sundays, broadcast in a 30-minute time-slot at 5:30PM. The series proved short-lived, and was eventually replaced on the schedule with Music for You. Like most Australian series of the 1950s, it aired in a single city only.
The Lucky Show was an Australian television series which aired from 1959 to 1961 on Sydney station TCN-9. Chuck Faulkner was originally announced as host, but was replaced prior to the first broadcast with George Foster. The series was a mix of game show and variety show, and episodes aired in a 60-minute time-slot during daytime. In 1961, The Lucky Show and The Happy Show were merged to create Happy Go Lucky, which should not be confused with Melbourne series The Happy Go Lucky Show (1957-1959). It is not known if any kinescopes or video-tapes still exist of The Lucky Show.
Tomorrow's Child is an Australian television film, or rather a live one-off television play, which aired in 1957 on ABC. Directed by Raymond Menmuir, it is notable as an early example of Australian television comedy and was Australia's first live hour long drama.

The Danny Dean Show is an Australian television series which was syndicated during 1959-1960 on Sydney station ATN-7. Hosted by Canadian comedian Danny Dean, it was a variety series featuring local and overseas performers. The series aired at 10:00PM on Friday nights. It is not known if any of the episodes still exist as either kinescope recordings or early video tape.
Rhythm Roundup is an Australian television series for which little information is available. It was a music series featuring Roy Hampson, but the exact format is not known. It ran from 1957 to 1960 on Sydney stations ATN-7 and ABN-2.

Citizen of Westminster is an early example of Australian television drama which aired on ABC. A one-off play set in England, it aired live on 8 October 1958 in Sydney, and kinescoped for showing in Melbourne on 30 November 1958. Australian TV drama was relatively rare at the time.
