WestBam

Members of Mayday was a German techno project by Klaus Jankuhn and WestBam. From 1991 until 2013 the Members of Mayday created the official hymn of the annual Mayday Rave, which at the time was Germany's largest indoor rave. In February 2014 WestBam left the group. [1]

Rave Dance party

A rave describes a dance party at a warehouse, public or private property, typically featuring performances by DJs playing electronic dance music. The style is most associated with the early 90s dance music scene when DJs played at illegal events in musical styles dominated by electronic dance music from a wide range of sub-genres, including techno, hardcore, house, dubstep, and alternative dance. Occasionally live musicians have been known to perform at raves, in addition to other types of performance artists such as go-go dancers and fire dancers. The music is amplified with a large, powerful sound reinforcement system, typically with large subwoofers to produce a deep bass sound. The music is often accompanied by laser light shows, projected coloured images, visual effects and fog machines.

Yello Swiss music group

Yello is a Swiss electronic music band formed in Zürich in 1979. For most of the band's history, Yello has been a duo consisting of Dieter Meier and Boris Blank, though former member Carlos Perón was part of the original line-up until 1983.

Bam Margera Professional skateboarder and stuntman

Brandon Cole "Bam" Margera is an American stunt performer, television personality, filmmaker, and former professional skateboarder. He came to prominence in the early 2000s as one of the stars of the MTV reality stunt show Jackass with his long-time friend, Ryan Dunn. He also created the Jackass spin-off shows Viva La Bam and Bam's Unholy Union and co-wrote and directed his films Haggard and Minghags.

Mayday (music festival)

Mayday, like the former Love Parade, is one of the oldest and most reputed electronic music festivals in Germany, having its debut on 1991 and Katowice, Poland, having its debut on 2000. Despite the name, Mayday festivals date oscillates between April and December. Currently, the festival takes place only in around 30 April in Dortmund and 10 November in Katowice.

Bouncy techno is a hardcore dance music rave style that developed in the early 1990s from Scotland and North England. Described as an accessible gabber-like form, it was popularised by Scottish DJ and music producer Scott Brown under numerous aliases.

Maximilian Lenz, known by his stage name WestBam, is a DJ and musician from Germany. He is the co-founder of the record label Low Spirit.

Mayday is a Taiwanese band that released their first album in 1999 with five members, Monster, Ashin (vocal), Stone, Masa (bass) and Ming (drums).

Mayday, entitled Air Crash Investigation in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom, India, other Asian countries, and some European countries, and Air Emergency, Air Disasters, and Mayday: Air Disaster in the United States, is a Canadian documentary television program examining air crashes, near-crashes, hijackings, bombings, and other disasters. Mayday uses re-enactments and computer-generated imagery to reconstruct the sequence of events leading up to each disaster. In addition, survivors, aviation experts, retired pilots, and crash investigators are interviewed, to explain how the emergencies came about, how they were investigated, and how they might have been prevented.

Klaus Jankuhn is a German record producer and musician, considered a pioneer in the early German techno scene. He mostly worked for the artists of the rave label Low Spirit, producing artists such as WestBam, Marusha or DJ Dick. Together with WestBam he also founded the project Members of Mayday.

Ruhr in Love

Ruhr in Love or Ruhr-in-Love is an annual family festival of the electronic music scene in Oberhausen, Germany, where it has been held since June 2003. It is a one-day open-air festival at which more than 35 "colourful and imaginatively designed floors" are presented by clubs, event organisers, record labels, booking agencies, radio stations, magazines etc. The focal point is the Mixery-Stage featuring international headliners.

Wilhelm Christian "William" Röttger was a German label owner, music manager and gallery owner. Röttger co-founded the influential German techno label Low Spirit and managed the music festival Mayday.
