The Memorial Home Community Historic District (also known as Penney Retirement Community) is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on February 3, 1999) located in Penney Farms, Florida. The district is bounded by SR 16, Caroline Boulevard, Wilbanks Avenue, and Studio Road. It contains 24 historic buildings and 2 structures.

The J. C. Penney Historic District is a historic district in Kemmerer, Wyoming encompassing several properties associated with James Cash Penney (1875-1971). The district includes the Golden Rule Store, the first in what became the J. C. Penney department store chain, and Penney's home during the store's early years. The district was declared a National Historic Landmark District in 1978, for Penney's role in creating one of the first national department store chains.

Killingly High School is a public high school in Killingly, Connecticut. The school reported 792 students and 65 FTE classroom teachers for the 2014–2015 school year. Killingly High is the only public high school in the Killingly School District, which is on the eastern edge of Windham County. It also serves the nearby town of Brooklyn.

Calvary Episcopal Church and Churchyard is a historic Episcopal church located at 411 E. Church Street in Tarboro, Edgecombe County, North Carolina. The church was built between 1860 and 1867, and is a one-story, rectangular Gothic Revival style building. Attached to the church is a Parish House built in 1922, and designed by architect Hobart Upjohn. Located adjacent to the church is an arboretum dating to 1842, that includes number of gravestones. Notable burials include Gen. William Dorsey Pender (1834–1863) and author William L. Saunders (1835–1891).

The J. C. Penney House in Kemmerer, Wyoming was the home of James Cash Penney, the founder of the J. C. Penney department stores, during the 1904-1909 period that he developed his formula for a successful dry goods store. Penney and wife moved to Kemmerer in 1902 and lived in the garret of a small house. With a child, it was too small, and Penney bought this two-storey house in 1904. It was small, too: about 25 feet (7.6 m) wide and sloping down to the back, going about 30 feet (9.1 m) deep.
