After a highly successful period in European basketball, he was one of the first established European stars to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Kukoč played for four NBA teams between 1993 and 2006, winning the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 1996. He is a three-time NBA champion, having won championships with the Chicago Bulls in 1996, 1997 and 1998.

He practices Islam and can speak Algerian Arabic, French and English.
Nafissatou "Nafi" Thiam is a Belgian athlete specialising in multi-event competition. She is the first athlete with three multi-event gold medals at the Olympic Games, winning the heptathlon at the 2016 Rio, 2020 Tokyo and 2024 Paris Olympics. Her three individual Olympic golds in a row for a woman equals the record of Anita Wlodarczyk of Poland in the hammer and Faith Kipyegon in the 1500 metres Thiam is also the only Belgian athlete to successfully defend an Olympic title.

However, Red Bull BC One is argued to be the most coveted competition to crown the best solo b-boy due to their audience and popularity worldwide.

In 2021, Fukushima won the world championship in a competition in France. She also participated at a Red Bull BC One competition. Ayumi works as a schoolteacher.
Ami Yuasa, also known mononymously as Ami, is a Japanese breakdancer and Olympic gold medalist. She is the winner of the 2018 and 2023 Red Bull BC One world championship and the WDSF World Breaking Champions 2019 and 2022. She is a member of the Good Foot Crew.
