Menno van Gorp (born 7 February 1989) [1] is a Dutch breakdancer who performs mononmously as Menno.

Menno has won the Red Bull BC One three times, being one of only two competitors to do so, along with Hong 10. He won gold at the WDSF World Breaking Championship in 2019 [2] and the European Breaking Championship in 2023. [3] He represented the Netherlands in the 2024 Summer Olympics. [1]

Menno was born in Tilburg and began breaking at age twelve. [1] He practiced Judo before breaking, switching because he enjoyed the "freedom" he felt breaking gave him. [4] His first competition was in 2007 at age 18. [5]

He also enjoys photography, theatre, painting and fashion. [5] He enjoys jazz music and collects jazz records. [1]

The Red Bull BC One is an annual international breakdancing (B-Boy) competition, established in 2004. The competition is organised by the beverage company Red Bull. Its first event was held in Biel, Switzerland in 2004.

Ali Ramdani, better known by his stage name Lilou, is an Algerian-French b-boy breakdancer. He is part of the French crew Pockemon Crew and the all-star team LEGION X. He practices Islam and can speak Algerian Arabic, French and English.

B-boying or Breaking, also called Breakdancing, is a style of street dance that originated among African-American and Puerto Rican youths in New York City during the early 1970s. The dance spread worldwide due to popularity in the media, especially in regions such as South Korea, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Russia, and Japan. Now, b-boying has gained much popularity around the world with countless competitions crowning the best bboy crews and solo bboys. Many consider Battle of the Year, The Notorious IBE, UK B-Boy Championships and R-16 Korea to be the 4 major international bboy competitions which determine the best bboy crew in the world. Along with crew battles, solo, or 1 on 1 battles, have also gained much popularity around the world. UK B-Boy Championships, Battle of the Year and R-16 Korea are also well known for their 1 on 1 b-boy championships. However, Red Bull BC One is argued to be the most coveted competition to crown the best solo b-boy due to their audience and popularity worldwide.

Mahuchikh is also the 2020 Summer Olympics bronze medalist, 2019 and 2022 World Championships silver medalist and 2024 World Indoor Championships silver medalist.

Ayumi Fukushima, also known as Ayumi, is a Japanese breakdancer. She participated at the 2022 World Games in the dancesport competition, being awarded the bronze medal in the B-Girls event. In 2021, Fukushima won the world championship in a competition in France. She also participated at a Red Bull BC One competition. Ayumi works as a schoolteacher.
