Anna "Kakurukaze" Mungunda was a Namibian woman of Herero descent. She was the only woman among the casualties of the Old Location uprising in Windhoek on 10 December 1959. Since Namibia's independence on 21 March 1990 Mungunda is regarded one of the heroes of the Namibian nation.

Chioma Mang, is a Nigerian lawyer and corporate executive, who serves as the managing director and chief executive officer of United Bank for Africa Uganda Limited, effective December 2020. Prior to her current position, she served as the managing director and CEO of United Bank for Africa's subsidiary in Gabon.
