Mercy College is a Roman Catholic co-education secondary school situated in the Ballysillan area of north Belfast, Northern Ireland. [2]
The school provides instruction in a range of academic subjects. At GCSE A-Level, instruction is offered in Irish, History, Art, Sociology, Mathematics, Government & Politics, ICT, English Literature, Media Studies and Drama. [3]

Balmoral High School was a secondary school in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was established by a merger of Deramore High School and Larkfield High School. The school was managed by the Belfast Education and Library Board (BELB). The school opened in September 1996 and closed in August 2008, due to falling pupil numbers. It had been built as an education 'pathfinder' for the private finance initiative (PFI).
The Gaeltacht Quarter in Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom is an area surrounding the Falls Road in the west of the city. A Gaeltacht is an area where the Irish language is spoken. Unlike the traditional Gaeltacht areas in the Republic of Ireland, Belfast's Gaeltacht Quarter does not have legally defined geographical boundaries. The Quarter serves as a socio-linguistic hub focused on the Falls Road/Andersonstown Road corridor in the west of the city, and aims to promote Irish language and Irish culture in the area and to develop associated tourist attractions.
Mercy HunterHRUA PPRUA ARCA MBE was a Northern Irish artist, calligrapher and teacher. Hunter was a founding member of the Ulster Society of Women Artists, where she was later to become president and she was also a past president of the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts.
