Mero Best Friend is an Nepali romantic comedy movie based on the grounds of friendship and violence. The movie centers on the lives of two best friends played by Resh Maratha and Priyanka Karki. Originally Jharana Bajracharya was cast as the female lead but she was later replaced by Priyanka Karki. [1] While this is Prasanna Poudel's second movie venture, Karki debuts into Kollywood with this movie. It also includes Bimlesh Adhikari and Keki Adhikari in a special appearance. [2] The movie ‘MBF’ is made under Ashabadi Films banner, produced by Prajita Bajcharya. The story and the screenplay is written by Achyut Adhikari. The music composers are Sugam Pokhrel, Rajanraj Shivakoti, Ashusen Lama, and Pramod Kharel. The lyrics of the songs are written by Bhupendra Khadka, Harihar Acharya, and Ahsusen Lama. Action by Himal KC, editing by Surendra Poudel & Tekendra Shah, and cinematography by Late Bidur Pandey.

"Melancholy" is an environmentally-themed song sung by 365 Nepali artists. This song was intended to promote an environmental message by breaking the Guinness World Records for "Most Vocal Solos in a Song Recording", which it successfully did. It was written, music composed and directed by environmentalist Nipesh Dhaka. The song was recorded as a single on 19 May 2016. The recording sessions were inaugurated by Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli at 8 am and continued until 6 pm. The song was released on 2 September 2017 by President Bidya Devi Bhandari at Army Officer's Club, Kathmandu.

Ainaa Jhyal Ko Putali is a 2020 Nepali coming-of-age film written and directed by Sujit Bidari under the banner of Icefall Productions and Local Cinema. The film is Nepal's submission for the 95th Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film. It is the first Nepali film to compete for prize worth of 30,000 US dollars in 25th Busan International Film Festival for the category New Currents in 2020. Bidari also won the best director award in 2022 Dhaka International Film Festival. Released on September 9, 2022, the film stars Kanchan Chimariya, Dinesh Khatri, Siru Bista, and Ashok Shiwakoti, with the first two making their film debuts; similarly it was the first film for most of the actors who worked on it. The title of the film is inspired by a poem of Madhav Prasad Ghimire with the same title.
