Merv Mosely (born October 31, 1966) is a former American football player who played four seasons in the Arena Football League with the Albany Firebirds and Connecticut Coyotes. He played college football at Western Connecticut State University. [1]

Mervyn Gregory Hughes is a former Australian cricketer. A right-arm fast bowler, he represented Australia in 53 Test matches between 1985 and 1994, taking 212 wickets. He played 33 One Day Internationals, taking 38 wickets. He took a hat-trick in a Test against the West Indies at the WACA in 1988–89. In 1993, he took 31 wickets in the Ashes series against England. He was a useful lower-order batsman, scoring two half-centuries in Tests and over 1,000 runs in all.
