Mervyn Connaughton is a hurler from County Roscommon, Ireland. He plays with the Roscommon county team. In 2007 he captained them to win the National Hurling League Div 3 title and later the Nicky Rackard Cup, [1] [2] [3] he also later won a Nicky Rackard Cup All Star that year. He plays with his local Athleague [4] club with whom he won Roscommon Senior Hurling Championship medals in 2003, 2006 and 2007.

Warwickshire GAA

The Warwickshire County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) is one of the county boards outside Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in Warwickshire. The county board is also responsible for the Warwickshire inter-county teams. Warwickshire have won the Lory Meagher Cup two times. The first victory was in 2013 beating Longford in the hurling final on 8 June 2013 at Croke Park, 2-16 to 0-10. The second in 2017 beating Leitrim on the 10 June 2017 at Croke Park, 0-17 to 0-11. Warwickshire again beat Longford to win the Allianz NHL Div 3B hurling final on 4 April 2015 in Ratoath, Meath. Final score: Warwickshire 1-15, Longford 2-10.

The Fingal hurling team is an inter-county hurling team representing Fingal in the Kehoe Cup, the National Hurling League and the Nicky Rackard Cup. It is organised by the Dublin GAA and was established in 2008. Fingal are currently managed by Mick Kennedy of the Fingallians club.

Paul Seevers is a hurler from County Sligo, Ireland. He played with the Sligo county team from more than 20 years. He helped the Sligo team to a National Hurling League Division 3 victory in 2004, scoring 2-07 in the final and won a Nicky Rackard Cup in 2008 when Sligo overcame favourites Louth in the final in Croke Park by 3-19 to 3-10, he scored 1-04 in that game and 2-30 over the course of the championship. He also won 3 Railway Cup medals with Connacht. He plays with the Tubbercurry club in Sligo. He represented Ireland in the Shinty International against Scotland in 2003. He won 10 Sligo Senior Hurling Championships winning 9 in a row from 1995 to 2004 and once again in 2006. He also won a Sligo Senior Football Championship in 1991.

Nicky Horan is a hurler from County Meath. He plays with the Meath intercounty team with whom he has had some success. He has won Kehoe Cup medals in 1998, 2004, 2008 and 2011. Leinster Junior Hurling Championships in 1998 1999 2002 2003 and 2004 and All-Ireland Junior Hurling Championships in 1998, 1999 and 2004, He also won a Nicky Rackard Cup in 2009.
