The Wicklow County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) or Wicklow GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Wicklow. The county board is also responsible for the Wicklow county teams.

John Meyler is an Irish hurling manager and former selector, association footballer, Gaelic footballer and hurler who is currently the manager of the Kilmoyley senior hurling team. He has formerly managed the Kerry, Wexford, Carlow and Cork senior hurling teams.
Kevin O'Brien is a former Gaelic footballer from Baltinglass, County Wicklow. O'Brien was part of the great Baltinglass team that dominated Wicklow football in the 80's and 90's, winning an All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship Title in 1990. He is also the only Wicklow recipient of an All Star having won one in 1990 at Full Forward. He won a Railway Cup medal with Leinster in 1986, before he had even played for his county and added a second in 1990. He also represented the Irish International Rules team in 1990 in the success over Australia and again in the 1998 Series. He was also part of the Wicklow team that won the All-Ireland Junior Football Championship Title in 2002. He was inducted in the GAA's Hall of Fame in 2010 and is one of the youngest recipients of the accolade. He received his award at the 2010 Leinster final.

John Flynn is an Irish sportsperson who currently plays Gaelic football for Wicklow Senior Football Championship team Baltinglass and was a member of the Wicklow senior team from 2003 to 2012. While Flynn remained as a sub for most he was called up in 2010 after the current goalkeeper Mervyn Travers sustained a serious knee injury which forced him out, Flynn subsequently replaced Travers and remained in goalkeeping position. In October 2012, Flynn announced his retirement from inter-county football. Flynn returned to the panel in early 2013 after being recalled.

As with other sports, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused disruption to Gaelic games, primarily in Ireland but also elsewhere in the world. Competitions have been cancelled, postponed or restructured, while some teams have withdrawn or been unable to participate in those that have gone ahead.
