In cricket, an umpire is a person who has the authority to make decisions about events on the cricket field according to the Laws of Cricket. Besides making decisions about legality of delivery, appeals for wickets and general conduct of the Game in a legal manner, the umpire also keeps a record of the deliveries and announces the completion of an over.
Paul Ronald Reiffel is an Australian former cricketer who played in 35 Tests and 92 One Day Internationals (ODIs) from 1992 to 1999. He was part of Australia's victorious 1999 World Cup team. The International Panel of ICC Development Umpires is a panel of international cricket umpires chosen by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The Sri Lanka national cricket team toured India during the 1997–98 cricket season, playing three Test matches and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). The other ODI, which was held on 25 December, was abandoned after three overs had been bowled, when after discussion between the two captains and the match referee, it was determined that the inconsistent bounce of the pitch was too dangerous for the players. Said Ahmed Shah was a Pakistani academic and cricket umpire. He stood in one Test match, Pakistan vs. West Indies, in 1984 and five ODI games between 1984 and 1997. He also stood in ninety-four first-class cricket and forty-seven List A cricket matches between 1972 and 2000.
Afzaal AhmedRizvi was a Pakistani cricketer and umpire. He mainly officiated in domestic cricket matches, only umpiring in a single One Day International (ODI).
Ahmed Esat is a Zimbabwean former cricket umpire. He only officiated in eleven ODI games between 1995 and 2002. He became chairman of the Matabeleland Cricket Association in 2002, and served until resigning in December 2005, after which he was replaced by Ethan Dube. Esat also served on the board of the Zimbabwe Cricket Union.
Ahmed Shahab is a Pakistani cricket umpire. He stood in his first Twenty20 International match on 4 December 2014 between Pakistan and New Zealand in the United Arab Emirates. He made his One Day International umpiring debut on 10 January 2015 in a match between Afghanistan and Ireland in the UAE tri-series.

He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match between Afghanistan and Ireland on 17 March 2017. As of March 2023, he had officiated in 7 ODIs and 14 T20Is.
