Biography

Metamono is a musical trio formed in 2010 by Jono Podmore, Mark Hill and Paul Conboy to create analogue electronic music without using digital sound generation and processing, overdubs or microphones.

Their improvised compositions are created using pre-used, borrowed and handbuilt vintage analogue synths and ring modulators, enhanced by the sounds of a theremin, a siren and a valve radio.

Much of Metamono's equipment has been built or adapted by Paul Conboy (Bomb the Bass). [1]

In 2013 Metamono released the album With the Compliments of Nuclear Physics on vinyl. [2] [3]

Metamono also released a six-song cassette-only EP entitled Band Theory [4]

Adam Leonard is an English singer-songwriter working mainly in the folk, psychedelic and electronic music fields. His style is often described as lo-fi and the subject matter of his songs somewhat unconventional. Since his debut album How Music Sounds in 2003, he has released many EPs, albums and mini-albums on various small labels. Live performances, which have so far been limited to the UK are as intriguing as they are rare. In 2008 he opened for British folk musician Steve Ashley. He regularly collaborates with other musicians, most notably Pat Gubler, Ashley Cooke (Pulco), Gareth Davies, and Steven Collins of The Owl Service, a band for which Leonard provided vocals for their 2010 album The View From A Hill. At the close of 2010, a limited edition album entitled Nature Recordings was released on vinyl only by the London label The Great Pop Supplement. In 2011, Leonard provided the soundtrack to Claudia Heindel's award-winning independent film, Lucky Seven. In 2012, Nature Recordings was issued on CD by Manchester-based label The Northwestern Series.

Final is a project of English musician Justin Broadrick, creator of the band Godflesh, which he started when he was 13 years old. Unlike Godflesh, Final is primarily electronic in nature, taking on a space-like, dark ambient sound.

Thousand Yard Stare are an English band from Slough, Berkshire, England, active during the early 1990s, prior to the Britpop explosion. Supporting popular bands on the indie circuit such as James and Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine, the band also released several EPs. Reformed in 2015, the band played a sold-out show at London's Borderline on 6 June, at the Nottingham Rock City Wake-Up Indie Alldayer on 17 October 2015, and at the Shiiine On Weekender festival at Butlins Minehead on 6 November 2015. More dates were scheduled for 2016.

Jefre Cantu-Ledesma is a multi-instrumentalist, member of several bands, and co-founder of the Root Strata record label based out of San Francisco, California. Cantu-Ledesma got his start in the band Tarentel. He was one of the founding members and is still a primary figure in the band's line-up. Stick in the Wheel are a band with its origins in working-class East London, UK. It consists of vocalist and artist Nicola Kearey and Ian Carter, their producer, arranger and Dobro player. The Seaside: Original Edition is an expanded reissue of the 1984 demo album The Seaside by the English rock band Cardiacs. It was released digitally on 11 January 2015 to mark the album's 30th anniversary. It includes a new remaster of the album from the original tapes, featuring all thirteen tracks.
