Metis (born March 28, 1984, in Hiroshima) is a Japanese female reggae singer songwriter. She debuted in her early as an R&B artist, but after her first single and album, she signed to another record label to pursue a reggae career.

Japanese is an agglutinative, synthetic, mora-timed language with simple phonotactics, a pure vowel system, phonemic vowel and consonant length, and a lexically significant pitch-accent. Word order is normally subject–object–verb with particles marking the grammatical function of words, and sentence structure is topic–comment. Its phrases are exclusively head-final and compound sentences are exclusively left-branching. Sentence-final particles are used to add emotional or emphatic impact, or make questions. Nouns have no grammatical number or gender, and there are no articles. Verbs are conjugated, primarily for tense and voice, but not person. Japanese adjectives are also conjugated. Japanese has a complex system of honorifics with verb forms and vocabulary to indicate the relative status of the speaker, the listener, and persons mentioned.
Princess Shikishi or Shokushi was a Japanese classical poet, who lived during the late Heian and early Kamakura periods. She was the third daughter of Emperor Go-Shirakawa. In 1159, Shikishi, who did not marry, went into service as saiin at the Kamo Shrine in Kyoto. She left the shrine after some time, and in her later years became a Buddhist nun.

Boku wa Imōto ni Koi o Suru is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kotomi Aoki. Originally serialized in the magazine Shōjo Comic, its chapters were published in ten tankōbon volumes by Shogakukan from May 2003 to August 2005. The series focuses on fraternal twins Yori and Iku, who fall in love with one another despite being siblings.

Amii Ozaki, real name Misuzu Ohara, is a Japanese singer songwriter born on 19 March 1957 in Kita-ku, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. She has written music such as Oribia o Kikinagara by Anri and Tenshi no Uinku by Seiko Matsuda, as well as many other songs. Ozaki makes irregular appearances on her friend Akira Kamiya's internet radio show Kamiya Akira Hot Beat Party. Her husband is musician Ray Ohara. Her mother is Akemi Ozaki, a maker of popular handbags and purses made from vintage obi.
Gō Ikeyamada is a Japanese manga artist. She made her debut in 2002 with Get Love!!, which was serialized in Shōjo Comic.
Koreyoshi Kurahara was a Japanese screenwriter and director. He is perhaps best known for directing Antarctica (1983), which won several awards and was entered into the 34th Berlin International Film Festival. He also co-directed Hiroshima (1995) with Roger Spottiswoode, which was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries.

It was released as the album's second single by Ariola Japan on February 5, 2014. The title track was released digitally and serviced to radio two weeks prior, on January 22, 2014. It is the theme song to the TBS drama series S Saigo no Keikan, starring Osamu Mukai and Gō Ayano. Misia first performed "Boku wa Pegasus Kimi wa Polaris" on January 18, 2014 at Nippon Budokan during the Hoshizora no Live VII concert tour.

Known for its unique rockabilly tune, the song was used in a Pioneer cordless phone commercial featuring Moritaka.
"Boku wa Boku o Suki ni Naru" is the 26th single by Japanese idol group Nogizaka46. It was released on January 27, 2021, through N46Div. The song was written by Yasushi Akimoto and composed by Katsuhiko Sugiyama about the transition of the human's mind until it is decided to start something with vocals which transparent to the melody of the piano and strings. Mizuki Yamashita served as the center position of the song for the first time, and Miona Hori also participated as her last single from the group.
"Hana wa Dare no Mono?" is the eighth single by Japanese idol group STU48, released on April 13, 2022. The lead performer for the title song rotates between Yumiko Takino, Chiho Ishida, and Mai Nakamura in an unusual "triangle center" system. A short film featuring the performers of the title song was released on YouTube as part of the single's promotion.
