Metrocentro Managua is a shopping center in Managua, Nicaragua, developed and operated by the salvadorean Grupo Roble. The shopping center is home to 120 stores, a food court, a supermarket and a movie theater.
Managua is the capital and largest city of Nicaragua, and the center of an eponymous department. Located on the southwestern shore of Lake Managua, it had an estimated population 1,042,641 in 2016 within the city's administrative limits and a population of 1,401,687 in the metropolitan area, which additionally includes the municipalities of Ciudad Sandino, El Crucero, Nindirí, Ticuantepe and Tipitapa.
Nicaragua, officially the Republic of Nicaragua, is the largest country in the Central American isthmus, bordered by Honduras to the northwest, the Caribbean to the east, Costa Rica to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest. Managua is the country's capital and largest city and is also the third-largest city in Central America, behind Tegucigalpa and Guatemala City. The construction of the first phase of the shopping center was finished in 1974. Due to the war, further development was halted until 1998 when it was renovated and extended with more store space and the building of the four-star Hotel Real InterContinental Metrocentro Managua.
In 2004, a third renovation took place, adding more than 25,000 m2 (270,000 sq ft) of new commercial space and a two-level parking space. [1] [2]

It is managed by Brookfield Properties Retail Group. The shopping mall is located at the I-40 interchange with Gate City Boulevard, southwest of downtown.

Wayzata Bay Center was an enclosed shopping mall in Wayzata, Minnesota, a suburb of the Twin Cities. Wayzata Bay Center once comprised 127,000 square feet (12,000 m2) of retail space, with approximately 30 stores on one level, but closed in 2011 after the city of Wayzata agreed upon constructing a new facility on the same land. The mall was once owned by Madison Marquette until residents of the city purchased the mall for $16 million in December 2004.
