Micah Smaldone (born 1978) is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist based in Maine. He was a member of several New England area bands, and is best known for the solo music made under his given name, Micah Blue Smaldone.
Growing up in the small town of Kennebunk, Maine, Smaldone developed an interest in punk rock and skateboarding. [1] Smaldone was a founding member of the Pinkerton Thugs, an anarchist street punk band that played an integral part in the mid-1990s Boston punk revival. He played in several other bands of different styles prior to becoming a solo performer around the turn of the century.
Built upon a foundation of fingerstyle Piedmont Blues guitar, Smaldone's solo efforts have expanded over the years into full-band accompaniment, both acoustic and electric, and often vivid, harrowing lyrics.
To date he has released four solo studio albums, and has toured regularly across United States and Europe. Now based in South Portland, Maine, Smaldone has started a new punk project called Wake in Fright. He also builds and sells amplifiers. [1]
Nomeansno was a Canadian punk rock band formed in Victoria, British Columbia, and later relocated to Vancouver. They released 11 albums, including a collaborative album with Jello Biafra, and numerous EPs and singles. Critic Martin Popoff described their music as "the mightiest merger between the hateful aggression of punk and the discipline of heavy metal." Nomeansno's distinct hardcore punk sound, complex instrumentation, and dark, "savagely intelligent" lyrics inspired subsequent musicians. They were a formative influence on punk jazz, post-hardcore, math rock, and emo.

Logan was the frontman and guitarist for hardcore punk band F-Minus but is most famous for his work in the group Leftöver Crack. In 2018, Logan joined Adolescents following the death their founding bassist Steve Soto.

Pieces of the Sun is bassist Tony Levin's third solo album. It is an instrumental record blending elements of jazz, progressive rock, experimental, and international music. It featured his touring group of the time, which included keyboardist Larry Fast, guitarist Jesse Gress, and drummer Jerry Marotta. The California Guitar Trio accompanies this quartet on the opening track, "Apollo." In addition to percussion duties, Marotta also plays acoustic guitar, Omnichord and saxophone on the album. The only vocals are the spoken word "Tequila" on “Tequila” and "dog one!," "dog two!", "dog three!" on "Dog One," which is a new recording of a Peter Gabriel composition, which Levin, Marotta and Fast had developed together while in Gabriel’s band.
