Michael Cannon (born 1964) was a five-time All-American sprinter at TCU.
Cannon attended South Oak Cliff High School. As a senior, in 1983, he set the all-time Texas state record in the 400 meter dash (45.48). That record wasn't broken until 1994, 11 years later. As of 2021, his time remains the state's 3rd fastest time. In 1983, he was ranked 1st nationally among quarter milers. Cannon ran first leg on the U.S. mile relay team that set the Jr. World Record in 1983.
Cannon also ran a 10.4 100 meter and a 20.9 200 meter. [1]
In 1985, Cannon set the TCU record for the 400 meters (45.14), a record that lasted almost 20 years, until 2004. By the end of his college career, Cannon had run 4 of the 6 fastest 400-meter races ever run by a TCU sprinter. Cannon also anchored the school-record indoor mile relay team that won the Southwest Conference crown in 1984 along with the indoor world best. [2]
Cannon was a five-time NCAA All American and was named TCU's Outstanding Track athlete in 1985. [2]
Cannon finished 5th in the 400 meter outdoor competition at the 1985 NCAA championships, and then finished 4th in 1986.

Biondi competed in the Summer Olympic Games in 1984, 1988 and 1992, winning a total of eleven medals. His 400m best of 43.81 seconds when winning the 1992 US Olympic trials, moved him to second on the world all-time list and still ranks him 17th on the world all-time list. As of August 2024, his time of 43.81 remains the track record for New Orleans.

He was champion over 60 m at the USA Indoor Championships in 2017, a medalist over 60 m at the World Indoor Championships in 2018, and a gold medallist in the 4 × 100 m relay at the World Relays in 2017. Baker was a dominant competitor over 100 m in the Diamond League circuit in 2018, winning four races and placing no worse than second, including in the final where he also placed second. He was the fastest man in the world in 2017 over 60 m, and the second fastest in 2018 over both 60 m and 100 m. In college he competed for the TCU Horned Frogs, where he was champion over 60 m at the NCAA Division I Indoor Championships in both 2015 and 2016. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Ronnie Baker ran the personal best of 9.83 in the men's 100m semi-finals, which made him the 6th fastest man in the history of Olympics 100m event.
Fredrick Lee Kerley is an American track and field sprinter. He was the Olympic silver medalist over 100 m at the 2020 Olympics and bronze medalist at the 2024 Olympics in the same event. Kerley has earned an additional six medals at the World Championships, most notably 100m gold at the 2022 edition. He has also medalled in the 400m, 4 x 100m relay, and 4 × 400 m relay and won eleven Diamond League races, including two Diamond League finals - the 400m in 2018 and the 100m in 2021.

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, he won a gold medal at the 2016 USATF Junior Olympics in the long jump before focusing on sprinting events. Patterson attended Dreher High School in Columbia, where he broke the state record in the 200 m and won a state title in the 400 m.
