Michael David McGehee is an American engineer.
McGehee earned a Bachelor of Arts in physics at Princeton University in 1994, followed by a doctorate in materials science from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1999. [1] [2] He taught at Stanford University until 2018, [3] and led the McGehee Group of researchers. [4] McGehee subsequently joined the University of Colorado Boulder as Patten Endowed Chair in Chemical Engineering, [5] and relocated the McGehee Research Group to CU Boulder as well. [6]

Carl Edwin Wieman is an American physicist and educationist at Stanford University, and currently the A.D White Professor at Large at Cornell University. In 1995, while at the University of Colorado Boulder, he and Eric Allin Cornell produced the first true Bose–Einstein condensate (BEC) and, in 2001, they and Wolfgang Ketterle were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics. Wieman currently holds a joint appointment as Professor of Physics and Professor in the Stanford Graduate School of Education, as well as the DRC Professor in the Stanford University School of Engineering. In 2020, Wieman was awarded the Yidan Prize in Education Research for "his contribution in developing new techniques and tools in STEM education." citation.
Eric Allin Cornell is an American physicist who, along with Carl E. Wieman, was able to synthesize the first Bose–Einstein condensate in 1995. For their efforts, Cornell, Wieman, and Wolfgang Ketterle shared the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2001.

His research focuses on physics education and on developing models of context, the scope of which involves students, departments, and institutional scales of transformation. "to support the research and teaching careers of talented young faculty in the chemical sciences." The Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar program began in 1970. In 1994, the program was divided into two parallel awards: The Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program, aimed at research universities, and the Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program, directed at primarily undergraduate institutions.
