Michael Davis (born 21 January 2002) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Young Reds on loan from Beveren. [3]

Club career

On 16 August 2022, Davis was loaned by Beveren to Antwerp for the 2022–23 season, with an option to buy. [4] At Antwerp, he was assigned to the reserves squad Young Reds, which plays in the third-tier Belgian National Division 1. On 4 July 2023, he returned to Young Reds on a permanent basis and signed a two-year contract. [5]

Sportkring Beveren is a Belgian professional association football club based in Beveren, East Flanders. The club is affiliated with the founded number 4068 and has yellow and blue as its colours. The team was founded in 1936 in Haasdonk and joined the Belgian Football Association in 1944 as FC Red Star Haasdonk. In 2002, the club moved to Sint-Niklaas and changed its name to KV Red Star Waasland. James Roger William Davis was an English footballer who played as a forward. He signed for Manchester United as a youth trainee in July 1999 and the following month he signed professional terms with the club. He played numerous times for the youth and reserve sides at United and was part of the team that won the Manchester Senior Cup in May 2000. He had a short spell on loan at Belgian club Royal Antwerp in 2001 before returning to United and making his senior debut in a League Cup tie against Arsenal during the 2001–02 season. He was an England youth international as he progressed from the under-16s to the under-20s during his time at Old Trafford.
