Michael Fracasso is a singer-songwriter based in Austin, Texas. His music spans country and rock as he sings in a high tenor that evokes the "high lonesome" sound of early country.

He was a regular performer at the Cornelia Street Cafe's Monday night songwriter workshops in the early 1980s. [1] He has released six albums/CDs in the past four decades. A Pocketful of Rain, Retrospective, Back To Oklahoma, World in a Drop Of Water, When I Lived in the Wild and Love & Trust.

As Of 2008 Was Touring with the Ribbon Of Highway, Endless Skyway.. Tribute to Woody Guthrie ensemble.

Cornelia Street Cafe

The Cornelia Street Cafe, was a restaurant & bar at 29 Cornelia Street in New York City's Greenwich Village, opened in July 1977. The cafe closed at the end of 2018, due to rising rents from the gentrification of the West Village; ending on its holiday closed day of New Years 2019. The cafe had been voted one of the best places to listen to jazz music in the world.

Americana Unplugged was a live music series, held every first Thursday, established in 2006 by Larry Lyon featuring singer-songwriters from the across America and abroad, while contributing to local charities. Artists also performed free concerts for children, the local Veteran’s Center and retirement centers. The concerts were usually held monthly at the LaVille Inn in downtown Davis, Oklahoma. Americana Unplugged also hosted two free Christmas concerts in the high school auditorium funded by local businesses. Larry Lyon donated all his time and other costs associated with the series as a way of giving back to the community.

Teodora Fracasso

Teodora Fracasso - in religious Elia di San Clemente - was an Italian Roman Catholic professed religious from the Carmelites. Fracasso once had the name of "Agnes" during a stint in the Third Order of Saint Dominic. Fracasso's inclinations to become a nun stemmed from her childhood after having had a vision in 1911 in which Thérèse of Lisieux told her that she would become a nun; this realization came a decade later when she entered the convent in her native Bari where she remained for the remainder of her life.

Dejadisc was a roots music-oriented record label based in Austin, Texas which was active from 1992 to 1997. It was known for the numerous, eclectic singer-songwriters who were signed to it.
