Michael Hatz (born 17 November 1970, in Vienna) is a retired Austrian international footballer. [1]

Sportklub Rapid Wien, commonly known as Rapid Vienna, is an Austrian professional football club playing in the country's capital city of Vienna. Rapid has won the most Austrian championship titles (32), including the first title in the season 1911–12, as well as a German championship in 1941 during Nazi rule. Ernst-Happel-Stadion, known as Praterstadion until 1992, sometimes also called Wiener-Stadion, is a football stadium in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district of Austria's capital Vienna. With 50,865 seats, it is the largest stadium in Austria. It was built between 1929 and 1931 for the second Workers' Olympiad to the design of German architect Otto Ernst Schweizer. The stadium was renamed in honour of Austrian footballer Ernst Happel following his death in 1992. The 1996 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup Final was a football match contested between Paris Saint-Germain of France and Rapid Wien of Austria. It was the final match of the 1995–96 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and the 36th Cup Winners' Cup final. The final was held at King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on 8 May 1996, hosting its first European club final since the scenes of the Heysel Stadium disaster eleven years prior. Paris Saint-Germain won the match 1–0, thanks to a free kick from Bruno Ngotty.
