Michael Saucedo (born July 11, 1970) [ citation needed ] is an American actor best known for his role on the soap opera General Hospital from 1999 until 2001, and he briefly returned in 2013 and 2014. He is also a musician and published author known for the "Liberty Strong" series.

Personal life

He is of Hispanic and Irish descent. After his parents divorced, Saucedo was raised by his mother. Saucedo has one brother and six half-siblings. They moved from Los Angeles to Grants Pass, Oregon, where he attended high school and was elected student body president. He joined garage bands in high school and showed no interest in acting. Saucedo attended Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota and attained a B.A. in African-American studies.

After graduation, not knowing what to do with his life, he decided to act[ citation needed ] and returned to Los Angeles. He married General Hospital star Rebecca Herbst (who currently plays Elizabeth Webber) in June 2001. They have three children: Ethan Riley (born October 31, 2001), Ella Bailey (born April 12, 2004), and Emerson Truett (born August 9, 2010). He also has a son from a previous relationship, Elijah Saucedo (born October 5, 1996). [1]

Career

He began acting as a child in commercials, including one for Band-Aid.[ citation needed ] During high school, he became involved with garage bands, and only went back to acting after college. From 1999-2001, Saucedo was a cast member of General Hospital as Juan Santiago.

Jarrod Ray Bunch is a former American football player, and former head coach of the Beverly Hills High School football team. He played college football for the University of Michigan from 1986 to 1990. He was the number 1 pick for the New York Giants in the 1991 NFL Draft. Jarrod was named New York Giants Offensive Player of the year in 1992. In the 1993 training camp Jarrod sustained a knee injury that tore ligaments in his knee that sidelined him for seven weeks, upon his return his ability to play was greatly affected. After multiple surgeries in the offseason, he tried to recover his high level of play, however his contract with the Giants was terminated after he failed a physical examination before the start of 1994 season. He signed with Los Angeles Raiders two weeks later. Jarrod retired from football in 1995, and has kept himself busy in entertainment and other activities. Elizabeth Webber is a fictional character from General Hospital, an American soap opera on the ABC network, played by Rebecca Herbst. Elizabeth is the granddaughter of the show's original lead character, Steve Hardy and daughter of Jeff Webber. Introduced on August 1, 1997, as a rebellious teenager, Elizabeth comes to live with her grandmother Audrey Hardy and sister Sarah Webber. Feeling abandoned by her parents, Elizabeth is a wild child with no regard for her life. In 1998, after she is raped, Elizabeth goes from a rebellious teenager to a terrified timid girl. Lucky Spencer is the son of legendary supercouple, Luke and Laura, played by Anthony Geary and Genie Francis. Elizabeth Webber is the granddaughter of original General Hospital character, Steve Hardy, and long-time character Audrey March Hardy. Lucky was originated by Jonathan Jackson in 1993, who continued to play the role when Rebecca Herbst originated Elizabeth in 1997. Jackson left the series in 1999, and Lucky was played by Jacob Young and later Greg Vaughan, who was let go in 2009 to allow Jackson to reprise the role. Jackson left the series in December 2011 and the role was not recast. Herbst portrayed the couple with each actor, and has been the only contract actress to play Elizabeth.
