Micheal Henry Alloysius (born 31 January 1991), also known as Micheal Falcon, is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a center-back for Brunei Super League club Indera. He previously played for Magwe FC and Hanthawaddy United of the Myanmar National League. [1]

Career

Henry started his career in Moldova for FC Rapid Ghidighici, then for Sitra Club in Bahrain, playing in their first division for the 2013–14 season. [2] He transferred to Magwe F.C. in the 2015 Myanmar National League season, finishing third in the league table. [3]

Then sometimes known as Micheal Falcon, Henry once again excelled in the 2016 season, repeating Magwe's league position in the previous year. He won the General Aung San Shield of that year, scoring the equalising goal in the 2–1 victory against Yangon United in the shield final. [4] This enabled Henry's club to participate in the 2017 AFC Cup, meeting Malaysian giants and former AFC Cup winners Johor Darul Ta'zim in the group stages. [5]

Henry moved to Hantharwady United at the start of the 2018 season, scoring on his debut in a 2–1 loss to Yangon United. [6] He was ever-present in two seasons with the club, before transferring to Bruneian outfit Indera SC along with fellow Nigerians Emmanuel Samson and Kingsley Nkurumeh in early 2020. [7] Henry stayed in Brunei even after the cancellation of the 2020 season of the Brunei Super League and signed for another year.

Henry scored his first goal for Indera in a 10–0 victory over Rimba Star FC on 27 June 2021. [8]

The 2018 Myanmar National League, also known as the 2018 MPT Myanmar National League, is the 9th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Burmese professional league for association football clubs since its founding in 2009. The departure of the two clubs from the MNL-1 disrupted the previous season. More disruption came when Nay Pyi Taw and City Yangon withdrew from the competition towards the end of the 2017 season. At an emergency meeting of the MNL committee on September 12, Nay Pyi Taw was expelled from the league after its players complained of not having been paid since April. The expulsion came after players boycotted a game in early September. An unsuccessful coup attempt in Turkey in July last year created a crisis for City Yangon that forced its departure from the MNL. It was a big disappointment for the club, which won the 2017 MNL-2 championship to end the season undefeated. MNL-2 third-place winners Myawady FC were promoted along with runners-up Sagaing United to the 2018 Myanmar National League.

The 2019 Myanmar National League is the 10th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Myanmar professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2009, also known as MPT Myanmar National League due to the sponsorship deal with Myanma Posts and Telecommunications. A total of 12 teams will compete in the league. The season began on 12 January 2019 and is scheduled to conclude on 24 September 2019.

The 2021 Myanmar National League was supposed to be the 12th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Myanmar professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2009.
