Michelle L. Patrick is an American academic administrator serving as the ninth president of Robert Morris University since 2022.
Patrick earned a B.S. in marketing and a M.B.A. from Youngstown State University. [1] She completed a Ph.D. in marketing from Kent State University. [1]
Patrick was dean of the college of business and public management at West Chester University. [2] In 2016,she became the dean of the school of business at Robert Morris University (RMU). [2] [1] In April 2022,she became the interim president of RMU,succeeding interim president and provost Mary Ann Rafoth. [2] In July 2022,Patrick was named the ninth president of Robert Morris University. [2] She is the first woman to serve in the role. [2]

The Robert Morris Colonials are the athletic teams for Robert Morris University,in Moon Township,Pennsylvania,a suburb of Pittsburgh. The Colonials compete in NCAA Division I. In 2020,the school joined the Horizon League as a full member after leaving the Northeast Conference. Several RMU sports that are not sponsored by the Horizon League play in other conferences. Football plays in the Big South Conference,and men's and women's lacrosse respectively compete in the ASUN Conference and Mid-American Conference. The school colors are RMU Blue,RMU Red,and RMU Gray/Silver.
The Robert Morris Colonials men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Robert Morris University. The team plays its home games at the Clearview Arena,located at the RMU Island Sports Center in Neville Township,Pennsylvania,United States. The Colonials are members of Atlantic Hockey America,formed shortly after the 2023–24 season by the merger of RMU's former men's league of the Atlantic Hockey Association and the women-only College Hockey America (CHA),in which RMU had been a member. The Colonials men had been members of CHA until its men's division disbanded at the end of the 2009–10 season.

She joined Eastern Michigan University in January 2012 as provost and executive vice president of academic and student affairs,and became interim president on July 8,2015,following the resignation of Susan Martin. Schatzel was previously dean of the college of business at University of Michigan–Dearborn. On November 30,2022,she was announced as the next president of University of Louisville and began her tenure on February 1,2023.
Barbara Ross-Lee,D.O. is an American physician,academic,and the first African-American woman to serve as dean of a U.S. medical school;she is also known as the sister of Diana Ross along with being the aunt of actress Tracee Ellis Ross,and singer-songwriters Rhonda Ross Kendrick and Evan Ross. She majored in biology and chemistry at Wayne State University,graduating in 1965. Then,in 1969,she entered Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine.
