Mickey Mouse: Mixed-Up Adventures (formerly known as Mickey and the Roadster Racers for its first and second seasons) is an American computer-animated children's television series produced by Disney Television Animation. It is the second spin-off of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, the first being Minnie's Bow-Toons. The series debuted on Disney Junior in the United States on January 15, 2017. [1]

Computer animation art of creating moving images using computers

Computer animation is the process used for digitally generating animated images. The more general term computer-generated imagery (CGI) encompasses both static scenes and dynamic images, while computer animation only refers to moving images. Modern computer animation usually uses 3D computer graphics, although 2D computer graphics are still used for stylistic, low bandwidth, and faster real-time renderings. Sometimes, the target of the animation is the computer itself, but sometimes film as well.

An animated series is a set of animated works with a common series title, usually related to one another. These episodes should typically share the same main characters, some different secondary characters and a basic theme. Series can have either a finite number of episodes like a miniseries, a definite end, or be open-ended, without a predetermined number of episodes. They can be broadcast on television, shown in movie theatres, released direct-to-video or on the internet. Like animated films, animated series can be of a wide variety of genres and can also have different target audiences, from children to adults.

Children's television series are television programs designed for and marketed to children, normally scheduled for broadcast during the morning and afternoon when children are awake. They can sometimes run during the early evening, allowing younger children to watch them after school. The purpose of the shows is mainly to entertain and sometimes to educate.

The series was renewed for a second season on March 15, 2017, [2] which premiered on April 13, 2018. A third season was renewed one year after. [3] The series was renamed as Mickey Mouse: Mixed-Up Adventures and aired on October 14, 2019. [4]

Mickey Mouse: Mixed-Up Adventures is about the Sensational Six (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Pluto) as they race around their town of Hot Dog Hills and around the world. (Pluto does not race in any way.) Unlike the previous series, this show contains two 11-minute stories as opposed to a full-length 22-minute story. In the first half, Billy Beagle announces Mickey and his friends' races whether the race is in Hot Dog Hills or anywhere around the world.

Mickey Mouse Disney cartoon character

Mickey Mouse is a funny animal cartoon character and the mascot of The Walt Disney Company. He was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks at the Walt Disney Studios in 1928. An anthropomorphic mouse who typically wears red shorts, large yellow shoes, and white gloves, Mickey is one of the world's most recognizable characters.

Minnie Mouse Disney cartoon character

Minnie Mouse is a funny animal cartoon character created by Ub Iwerks and Walt Disney. She and Mickey Mouse were first drawn by Iwerks in 1928. The Mickey Mouse comic strip story "The Gleam" by Merrill De Maris and Floyd Gottfredson first gave her full name as Minerva Mouse, although this is seldom used.

Goofy Disney cartoon character

Goofy is a funny animal cartoon character created in 1932 at Walt Disney Productions. Goofy is a tall, anthropomorphic dog who typically wears a turtle neck and vest, with pants, shoes, white gloves, and a tall hat originally designed as a rumpled fedora. Goofy is a close friend of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. He is normally characterized as extremely clumsy and somewhat dimwitted, yet this interpretation is not always definitive; occasionally Goofy is shown as intuitive, and clever, albeit in his own unique, eccentric way.

In the second half, Minnie and Daisy work as the Happy Helpers alongside Cuckoo-Loca (from Minnie's Bow-Toons ) where they help out different residents of Hot Dog Hills. Minnie and Daisy use the Turnstyler located in the office and the Happy Helper Van to assume the clothes associated with their jobs that they are hired to help out on.

Minnies Bow-Toons Series of shorts on Disney Junior

Minnie's Bow-Toons is an American animated children's television series produced by Disney Television Animation that ran from 2011 to 2016 on Disney Channel's preschool-oriented programming block, Disney Junior. It is a short-form series targeted at younger girls and is the first spin-off from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The series is based on the episode, Minnie's Bow-tique, where Minnie opens her boutique filled with a variety of bows and bow-ties. This show introduces Minnie's twin nieces Millie and Melody Mouse into Disney's cartoons, starting with the episode "Trouble Times Two."

In Season 2, the Roadster Racers get their roadsters modified by Ludwig Von Drake so that they can perform Supercharged moves.

Ludwig Von Drake Fictional Disney character appearing in cartoons and comic books

Professor Ludwig Von Drake is one of Walt Disney's cartoon and comic book characters. He was first introduced on September 24, 1961, as the presenter in the cartoon An Adventure in Color, part of the first episode of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color on NBC. Said to be an uncle of Donald Duck, he is described as a scientist, lecturer, psychologist, and world traveler. The character displayed his "expert" knowledge on a variety of subjects in eighteen episodes of the classic anthology series, as well as on a number of Disneyland Records.

Unlike most Disney characters, Pluto is not anthropomorphic beyond some characteristics such as facial expression. He is Mickey Mouse's pet. Pete wasn't named in the first year of Mickey Mouse cartoons, and in the 1929 short When the Cat's Away, he signs his name as "Tom Cat". In an introductory strip for the Mickey Mouse comic strip in early 1930, he was announced as "Terrible Tom - The Vile Villain", but this name was never used afterwards. In the April 24, 1930 strip, Mickey refers to him as "Pegleg Pete", and the name sticks.
