Mid-Ohio Opera is an opera production company based in Mansfield, Ohio. Mid-Ohio Opera was incorporated in 2014. [1] The company uses contemporary stagings of classic repertory. Mid-Ohio Opera tries to use non-traditional venues in a "pop-up" fashion. A registered 501c3, they rely on community support, corporate sponsorship, and grants.

The Northern 10 Athletic Conference is an OHSAA athletic conference that is currently made up of eight schools from northern Ohio and began athletic competition in 2014. Six schools came from the North Central Conference, three came from the Midland Athletic League, and one (Ridgedale) came from the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference. The Wizard World Columbus Comic Con, formerly known as Mid-Ohio Con and then the Wizard World Ohio Comic Con, was a comic book convention held during the fall in Columbus, Ohio, United States, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Claus Guth is a German theatre director, focused on opera. He has directed operas at major houses and festivals, including world premieres such as works of the Munich Biennale, and Berio's Cronaca del luogo at the Salzburg Festival in 1999. Guth is particularly known for his opera productions of the works of Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss. He has received two Faust awards, for Daphne by Richard Strauss in 2010, and for Debussy's Pelléas et Mélisande, both at the Oper Frankfurt.
