Mikael Norberg (born 20 October 1966 in Sundsvall) is a Swedish curler.

Norberg started playing curling in 1978. He plays in third position as a vice skip and is right-handed. [1]

In 2003 he was inducted into the Swedish Curling Hall of Fame.

The 2005 World Women's Curling Championship was held from March 19–27, 2005 at the Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley, Scotland. The tournament was the first since the 1988 event to be held separately from the 2005 Ford World Men's Curling Championship.

Ulrika Bergman is a Swedish curler from Solna. She is currently the alternate for the World and Olympic Champion Anette Norberg team. She was the fourth player for Margaretha Lindahl in four straight world junior championships from 1993 to 1996. Their best finish was in 1995 when they won the silver medal. In 1997, she switched throwing positions with Lindhal for their debut at the European Championships where they won a silver. Bergman has been Norberg's alternate since 2004, winning an Olympic gold medal in 2006.

The 2006 World Women's Curling Championship was held March 18–26 at the Canada Games Arena in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada.

The curling competition of the 2010 Olympics was held at Vancouver Olympic/Paralympic Centre in Vancouver. It is the fifth time that curling was on the Olympic program, after having been staged in 1924, 1998, 2002 and 2006. For the 2010 Winter Olympics the competition followed the same format that was used during the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics, with 10 teams playing a round robin tournament, from which the top four teams advance to the semi-finals.
