Michael McCahey (born December 20, 1954) is an American fencer. He competed in the individual and team foil events at the 1984 Summer Olympics. [1]
Mike Babcock is a Canadian former ice hockey coach and former player. He spent parts of eighteen seasons as a head coach in the National Hockey League (NHL), beginning when he was named head coach of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, whom he led to the 2003 Stanley Cup Finals. In 2005, Babcock signed with the Detroit Red Wings, winning the Stanley Cup with them in 2008, and helping them to the Stanley Cup playoffs every year during his tenure and setting a record for most wins in Red Wings history. In 2015, he left Detroit to coach the Toronto Maple Leafs, a position he held until he was fired in 2019. During his coaching tenure from 1991 to 2019, Babcock's teams missed the post-season only four times. In 2023, he attempted a return to the NHL with the Columbus Blue Jackets; however, he resigned in disgrace before the beginning of the 2023–24 season amidst investigations into allegations of misconduct.
James Bruce Tomkins is an Australian rower, seven-time World Champion and a three-time Olympic gold medalist. He is Australia's most awarded oarsman, having made appearances at six Olympic games ; eleven World Championships ; four Rowing World Cups and eighteen state representative King's Cup appearances – the Australian blue riband men's VIII event,. Tomkins is one of only five Australian athletes and four rowers worldwide to compete at six Olympics. From 1990 to 1998 he was the stroke of Australia's prominent world class crew – the coxless four known as the Oarsome Foursome.

Michael Anthony McFarlane OBE was a British athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres and 200 metres. He won an Olympic silver medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, and was the 200 m gold medallist at the 1982 Commonwealth Games and a 60 metres gold medallist at the 1985 European Athletics Indoor Championships. McFarlane won two further sprint medals at the 1986 Commonwealth Games.

The Voice of Ireland is an Irish reality talent show. The third series began airing on 5 January 2014 on RTÉ One. Kathryn Thomas presents the main show, while Eoghan McDermott co-presents. Bressie, Kian Egan and Jamelia returned as coaches while Dolores O'Riordan replaced Sharon Corr who left after the second series. The first episode aired on 5 January. After the show Jamelia and Dolores quit and were replaced by Una Foden/Healy and Rachel Stevens The Blind auditions took place on 18, 19 and 20 October at The Helix. An addition this season is that RTÉ 2fm have selected 5 wildcards to audition.
Brendan McCahey is an Irish singer-songwriter and recording artist with Universal Music. McCahey also previously worked in a vintage guitar store. In April 2014, he was crowned winner of series 3 of the talent competition The Voice of Ireland. He was mentored by former Blizzards frontman Bressie. Brendan became the bookies' favourite to win top prize after receiving a score of 28 out of 30 from coaches Kian Egan, Dolores O'Riordan and Jamelia. Following his victory, he released his debut single "You Can't Judge a Book by the Cover", originally sung by Bo Diddley. McCahey released his debut album To Where I Begin on 14 November 2014 and is currently touring. He currently resides in Shercock county Cavan near lough Sillan lake. He is married with children

Kathryn Thomas returned as main host, while her colleague Eoghan McDermott remained the show's co-host. Television personalities Bressie and Kian Egan both returned as coaches, while The Saturdays singer Una Healy and S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens filled the remaining two positions. Screentime Shinawil Productions continued to produce the talent programme.
