Mike Murphy is a former award-winning Canadian Football League fullback.
The Canadian Football League is a professional sports league in Canada. The CFL is the highest level of competition in Canadian football. The league consists of nine teams, each located in a city in Canada. They are divided into two divisions: four teams in the East Division and five teams in the West Division.
A graduate of University of Ottawa, Murphy was a member of the famed 1975 Vanier Cup champion Ottawa Gee-Gees team. [1] The Ottawa Rough Riders claimed him as a territorial exemption in the 1977 CFL Draft. In his first CFL season he rushed for 871 yards and caught 48 passes for another 483 yards, winning him the Frank M. Gibson Trophy as top rookie in the CFL East. [2] He was also an All-Star in 1978. During 4 seasons he rushed for 1983 yards and caught 163 passes for 1634 yards, scoring 10 touchdowns. His 2 two point converts in a game against Edmonton on August 26, 1980 is still a CFL record. Damon Allen is a former professional quarterback who played in the Canadian Football League. He is currently second in all-time professional football passing yards and second in all-time CFL passing yards after he was surpassed for first place by the Montréal Alouettes' Anthony Calvillo on October 10, 2011. He is pro-football's combined passing & rushing leader with a total of 84,301 yards. Allen retired as professional football's all-time leading passer with 72,381 passing yards after he surpassed Warren Moon's total of 70,553 yards on September 4, 2006 in the annual Labour Day Classic. He also retired in third place in all-time CFL rushing yards with 11,920 yards, behind Mike Pringle and George Reed. The 2007 season marked Allen's twenty-third season in the CFL and he officially announced his retirement on May 28, 2008 at age 44. Allen is the younger brother of Pro Football Hall of Famer Marcus Allen.
Geroy Simon is a retired professional Canadian football slotback who played 15 seasons in the Canadian Football League, twelve of them with the BC Lions. Simon won the CFL's Most Outstanding Player Award in 2006 while also winning three Grey Cup championships as a member of the BC Lions in 2006 and 2011 and with Saskatchewan in 2013. As of the 2013 CFL season, Simon is the all-time career leader in CFL receiving yards with 16,352 yards, second in pass receptions with 1,029 and third in touchdown receptions with 103.
Anthony Michael Peter Gabriel is a former professional Canadian football pass receiver who played in the Canadian Football League from 1971 to 1981. He played for both the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Ottawa Rough Riders. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in August 1985. In 2014, he was inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame.

Gerald Alan Alphin is a former professional gridiron football wide receiver and slotback who played eight seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 1986 to 1996, mainly for the Ottawa Rough Riders and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Alphin played college football at Kansas State University. Alphin recorded four 1,000-yard receiving seasons, including a period of three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with the Rough Riders during which he was considered one of the best receivers playing in the CFL. He was named an East all-star in 1988.

Darren Joseph is a former professional Canadian football running back and fullback who played from 1992 to 2004 in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Ottawa Rough Riders, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Toronto Argonauts, Montreal Alouettes, Ottawa Renegades and BC Lions. Joseph ran for 2,412 yards in his career on 526 attempts, scoring 15 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 103 passes for 1,175 yards and four receiving touchdowns. He matched a CFL record when he recorded seven special teams tackles in a single game on October 13, 2003. He played in the Canadian Junior Football League for the Ottawa Sooners from 1988 to 1990 and then CIAU football for the Ottawa Gee-Gees from 1991 to 1992.
