Mila Horvat

Mila Horvat (born June 4, 1981) is a Croatian TV host who appears on Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT).

Horvat was born in Celje, Slovenia. She spent her childhood in Hum na Sutli, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia and studied journalism at the University of Zagreb (Croatian Studies program) where she received a Master of Journalism degree in 2005. Horvat started work at HRT in 2002 and became a regular host of the morning show Dobro jutro, Hrvatska (Good Morning, Croatia) as well as hosting sporting events and news programs (Goleo, Arena, Olimp, and Volim nogomet).

She hosted Dora 2010 in Opatija [1] as well as the 2010 FIFA World Cup program Afrovizija. [2]

In December 2010, Mila and her dancing partner, Robert Schubert, finished 2nd place in Ples sa zvijezdama , the Croatian version of Dancing with the Stars . [3]

Croatian Radiotelevision is Croatia's public broadcasting company. It operates several radio and television channels, over a domestic transmitter network as well as satellite. In 2014, more than 85% of HRT's revenue came from broadcast user fees with each household in Croatia required to pay 79 HRK (~€10) per month for a single television set, with the remainder being made up from advertising. Gospić massacre

The Gospić massacre was the mass killing of 100–120 predominantly Serb civilians in Gospić, Croatia during the last two weeks of October 1991, during the Croatian War of Independence. The majority of the victims were ethnic Serbs but also included some Croats, arrested in Gospić and the nearby coastal town of Karlobag. Most of them were arrested on 16–17 October. Some of the detainees were taken to the Perušić barracks and executed in Lipova Glavica near the town, while others were shot in the Pazarište area of Gospić. The killings were ordered by the Secretary of Lika Crisis Headquarters, Tihomir Orešković, and the commander of the 118th Infantry Brigade of the Croatian National Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Mirko Norac.

TV kalendar is a daily historical documentary television series produced and broadcast by Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) on HRT 1, its first channel. Running continuously since 1976 and spanning more than 13,850 episodes, it is one of the HRT's most enduring television programs.

Barbara Radulović is a Croatian TV host. She is perhaps best known as a participant in the Nova TV talent show Story Supernova Talents in 2003. Croatia competed at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics from 15 to 23 August. A team of 5 athletes was announced in preparation for the competition. Selected athletes have achieved one of the competition's qualifying standards. Blanka Vlašić defended her high jump world title.

Croatia selected its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest through the Dora contest, which was held on 5 and 6 March 2010, organised by the Croatian national broadcaster Hrvatska radiotelevizija (HRT). The winner of Dora was the girl group Feminnem with "Lako je sve".

Croatia competed at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics from August 27 to September 4 in Daegu, South Korea. A team of 6 athletes represented the country in the event. The team was led by defending high jump champion and medal hope Blanka Vlašić.

The Dream (Roko Blažević song)

"The Dream" is a song performed by Croatian singer Roko Blažević and written by Jacques Houdek, Andrea Čubrić and Charlie Mason. The song represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel. A Croatian language version of the song, titled "Heroj", was released on 18 February 2019. The song was performed during the second semi-final on 16 May 2019, but did not quality for the final.
