Milan Film Festival (MFF), also known as Milano Film Festival, [1] is an annual film festival held since 1996 in Milan, Italy. It was founded as a competition of only local short films. It became an international film festival in 1998 when it also started to awards its participants. In 1999, it began to show feature films commenced, and in the following year they started to compete for the Best Film Award. [2]

Mezipatra is a Czech queer film festival screening films with gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender themes. The name Mezipatra translates as "mezzanine" and refers to the festival's mission: creating space for meeting of people regardless of their gender or sexual identities. The accompanying events range from lectures and debates to art openings, theatre performances as well as exciting parties. FILMFEST HAMBURG is an international film festival in Hamburg, the third-largest of its kind in Germany. It shows national and international feature and documentary films in eleven sections. The range of the program stretches from art house films to innovative mainstream cinema, presenting the first feature films of young unknown directors together with films by internationally established directors.
