Milan Kolena (born May 12, 1994) is a Slovak ice hockey centre. He is currently playing for the Sheffield Steeldogs of the National Ice Hockey League in the United Kingdom.
Kolena previously played nine games in the Kontinental Hockey League for HC Slovan Bratislava and also played in the Slovak Extraliga for MHC Martin, HC Košice, MsHK Žilina and ŠHK 37 Piešťany.
He moved to the United Kingdom in 2016, signing for the Telford Tigers.

The Slovak Extraliga, known as the Tipos Extraliga since the 2020–21 season for sponsorship reasons, is the highest-level ice hockey league in Slovakia. From 2018–19 to 2020–21, the league included one or two teams from Hungary.
Branislav Mezei is a Slovak professional ice hockey player. Mezei is a defenceman currently with HK Nitra of the Slovak Extraliga. Mezei has previous played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the New York Islanders and Florida Panthers. Mezei also played for Barys Astana and HC Plzen of the KHL, and Espoo Blues of the SM-liiga. Mezei was a first-round pick of the Islanders in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, tenth overall.
Jozef Stümpel is a Slovak former professional ice hockey centre. He played in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, and Florida Panthers between 1992 and 2008. Internationally Stümpel played for the Slovak national team at several tournaments, including the 2002, 2006, and 2010 Winter Olympics, and eight World Championships, winning a gold in 2002.

He was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round, 38th overall, of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. He played one game in the National Hockey League with the Devils during the 2000–01 season against the Carolina Hurricanes on February 23, 2001, being held without a point. In the game, he played 9:55 of ice time and was +1, taking 2 shots on goal.
Andrej Podkonický is a Slovak former professional ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Florida Panthers and the Washington Capitals. He is currently the senior coach of Avangard Omsk of the KHL. He previously coached HC Slovan Bratislava, of the Slovak Extraliga.
Hockey Club Slovan Bratislava is a professional ice hockey club based in Bratislava, Slovakia. In 2012, it left the Slovak Extraliga and joined the international Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). In 2019, it returned to the Tipos Extraliga. The club has won nine Slovak championships, one Czechoslovak championship (1979) and one IIHF Continental Cup (2004), making it the second most successful hockey club in Slovak history after their biggest rival HC Košice. The team plays its home games at Ondrej Nepela Arena, also known as Slovnaft Arena. The team is nicknamed Belasí, which means the "sky blues" in English.
