The Millennium Docs Against Gravity (originally Warsaw Doc Review, then Planete Doc Review) is an annual documentary film festival in Poland held since 2004, usually in May. [1]
The main award at the festival is the Grand Prix Bank Millennium Award, sponsored by the Bank Millennium.

The Kraków Film Festival is one of Europe's oldest events dedicated to documentary, animation and other short film forms. It has been organised every year since 1961. The Artistic President of the festival is Krzysztof Gierat.
Up the Yangtze is a 2007 documentary film directed by Chinese-Canadian director Yung Chang. The film focuses on people affected by the building of the Three Gorges Dam across the Yangtze river in Hubei, China. The theme of the film is the transition towards consumer capitalism from a farming, peasant-based economy as China develops its rural areas. The film is a co-production between the National Film Board of Canada and Montreal's EyeSteelFilm with the participation of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, National Geographic Channel, P.O.V., SODEC, and Telefilm. The film is being distributed in the USA by Zeitgeist Films. The United Kingdom distributor is Dogwoof Pictures.

Malgorzata Gryniewicz, also known as Eleonora Gryniewicz is a Polish film director of feature and documentary films, journalist, and casting director. The owner of film and advertising agency Hollylodz Stars HS, in 2001-2012 co-owner of Skysoundtrackstudio in Stockholm.The daughter of the famous Polish sculptor Wojciech Gryniewicz. At the beginning she wanted to study acting in National Film School in Łódź, later she chose to study direction of a film. In years 2002-2008 she studied direction of a film in The Faculty of The Film and Television Pictures Realization and Photography in the Higher School of Art and Projecting in Lodz.In 2008 she was awarded the Honourable of the Dean for M.A. thesis film. She finished film production in Kulturama in Stockholm. She was the prizewinner of films awards in the country and abroad. When she was 26, she moved to Stockholm to do what she loves- to work in films and television productions. She worked for Swedish TV stations: Sveriges Television, TV3, TV4, TV6 in production of the reality-show "Waterwörld",series Solsidan directed by Felix Herngren, in the television programmes "69 saker du vill veta om sex", satirical programmes: "Cirkus Möller" i "Bläsningen". She worked in film sets: Millennium series of the film -Men who hate women on the base of the criminal novels of the Swedish writer Stiega Larssona. In Poland she had her journalist training period in the News TV station - TVN 24, then in 2010 she started a cooperation as an investigative journalist at TVN station. As a film producer of the Skysoundtrackstudio. Małgorzata Gryniewicz with a piece of work "Danddys with money" reached the top of the Swedish music plebiscite METRO ON STAGE.Gryniewicz graduated from the Film School in Łódź. She began her career working for TVN .She is the daughter of the artist Wojciech Gryniewicz.
Stopklatka.pl is the oldest Polish film website which provides information about films, television programmes, actors, actresses etc. The website was created in August 1996, however, the story of Stopklatka began as early as in October 1986, when the first radio programme was broadcast under the same title, "Stopklatka". In December 2012, the website went through significant changes such as logo and layout refreshments. Currently the database includes 60,169 films, 4,247 TV series, and 191,950 actors and actresses.

The International Film Festival Etiuda&Anima, is the leading animation film festival in Poland organized in Kraków continuously since 1994, and catering to independent producers, animation films professionals, and students of film and art schools from all over the world. Since 2010 the festival has also included workshops in scriptwriting, directing, cinematography, editing and animation, led by renown artists and pedagogues from foreign film schools. The main two events of each festival are the actual competitions awarding the Golden, Silver and Bronze Dinosaur' prizes in two categories including feature and documentary etudes as well as experimental filmography. The Special Golden Dinosaur Award is presented to the best film school of the festival. In the "Anima" part of the contest, Golden, Silver and Bronze Jabberwocky are awarded, with Special Golden Jabberwocky reserved for the best animated etude of the festival. The annual Special Golden Dinosaur is awarded to an outstanding artist turned pedagogue.
Agata Trzebuchowska is a Polish screenwriter and film director. She debuted in the film industry playing the title role in the 2013 film Ida for which she was nominated for many festival and industry awards. She works as a journalist for Przekrój.
The Conrad Festival is an annual literary festival held in Kraków since 2009. It is organised by the Tygodnik Powszechny Foundation and the Kraków Festival Office and is supported by the Kraków Municipal Government and Poland's Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. It is the largest literary festival in Central Europe and was named after Polish-British novelist Joseph Conrad.
Jacek Lusiński is a Polish film director, scriptwriter, lyricist, and author of the book Carte Blanche, published by Axis Mundi. He makes feature films, documentaries, commercials and video clips. He graduated from the Łódź Film School. Member of the European Film Academy and the Polish Filmmakers Association.
Volhynia or Hatred is a 2016 Polish war drama directed by Wojciech Smarzowski. The film is set in the 1939–1943 time frame and its central theme is Ukrainian anti-Polish hatred culminating in massacres of Poles in Volhynia. The screenplay was based on the collection of short stories titled Hate by Stanisław Srokowski.
In the Rearview is a 2023 documentary feature film directed by Maciek Hamela. It is about a van, that traverses the roads of Ukraine with the driver-director and evacuated people, following the Russian invasion. The vehicle becomes a fragile and temporary refuge of exiles whose only objective is to escape the war. It is a co-production between Poland, France and Ukraine.
Five Flavours Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Warsaw, Poland. It is focused on the cinema of Southeast and East Asia. It commenced in 2007 as a Vietnamese film review and later expanded to include films from other Asian nations, to become one of the most important events of its kind in Europe. Among its guests were many revered Asian filmmakers, including Fruit Chan, Noboru Iguchi, Miwa Nishikawa, Pen-Ek Ratanaruang, Pema Tseden and Midi Z. The festival also engages in educational projects, publishes books on Asian film and, since 2017, it has also started acting as a film distribution company, bringing selected Asian films to broader Polish audience.

Flee is a 2021 independent adult animated documentary film directed by Jonas Poher Rasmussen. An international co-production with Denmark, France, Norway, and Sweden, it follows the story of a man under the alias Amin Nawabi, who shares his hidden past of fleeing his home country of Afghanistan to Denmark for the first time. Riz Ahmed and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau serve as executive producers and narrators for the English-language dub version.
