Milo Colton (born March 25,1943) is an American politician who served in the Iowa Senate from the 1st district from 1983 to 1987. [1] [2]
Milo is a city in Warren County,Iowa,United States. The population was 778 at the time of the 2020 census. It is part of the Des Moines–West Des Moines Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Since Iowa became a U.S. state in 1846,it has sent congressional delegations to the United States Senate and United States House of Representatives. Each state elects two senators to serve for six years,and members of the House to two-year terms. Before becoming a state,the Iowa Territory elected a non-voting delegate at-large to Congress from 1838 to 1846.
Leland Milo Hamilton was an American sportscaster,best known for calling play-by-play for seven different Major League Baseball teams from 1953 to 2015. He received the Ford C. Frick Award from the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992.
